According to Conyers, the government is empowered to do anything it deems necessary or useful under the good and plenty clause. And Choo Choo Charlie will railroad it through congress.

lol.
That’s no clause!
I am pretty sure that would be the very definition of “over reaching”.

Satire grows tiresome when it is indistinguishable from the daily news.

John, the sad and inescapable truth is that these “Democrats” believe that the Constitution grants them a blank check to draw on the accounts of all Americans to serve whatever they define as the “General Welfare”. Freedom and property rights are now subordinate to enforced equality of outcome, as they were in France in the Year One. Wake me up when it’s Thermidor.

If you are going to do satire, please choose a fictitious topic.
Conyers actually DID say something along these lines....
Rush talked about it on his show the other day.
When you satirize a true story, you might as well be supporting it.

According to Conyers,
the government is empowered to do anything it deems necessary or useful under the good and plenty clause. The Founding Fathers were wise enough to realize they couldnt foresee the kinds of powers that would be needed in the future. So, they created language in that pretty much says we can do whatever we want if we think its for the benefit of the people."*ahem*
"With respect to the words "general welfare," I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators." -- James Madison

Conyers is a Communist who if the truth be known has probably committed many criminals acts and how about that convicted felon wife of his? I think his credibility is not worth anything.
