“Inspector” Lucas Smith claimed in comments on YouTube to have examined all newspaper birth announcements from August through December of 1961, not finding the birth announcement of the Nordyke twins (born at the same hospital as President Obama, one day later). Whether not finding was through oversight or fraud, the birth announcement is there in the newspaper on August 16 (Obama’s announcement was on August 13).
Birthers have attempted to discredit the Obama birth announcement claiming, against testimony of the newspaper and the Hawaii Department of Health that such announcements came from the department, that anyone could place such an “ad”. The very newspaper heading does not say “Birth Announcements” but rather “Health Bureau Statistics” if anyone needed further confirmation of what the announcements are. If a contemporary birth were omitted, then one would ask how, if the Health Department submitted the announcements, could one be omitted. It turns out that the objection is a fake, because the announcement is there just as it should be according to official policy. This announcement, just as the original Obama announcement, was found and published by an industrious blogger.

I know this sounds crazy, but maybe it's because Obama hasn't released any records at all. Probably just a a minor thing we should all ignore, right?
Hawaii's Territorial Law, Chapter 57 - "VITAL STATISTICS, I", shown beginning pg 23 of 29, (the law in effect in 1961) allowed baby's born anywhere in the world to be eligible to apply for a Hawaii birth certificate.

Rather than debating me, why not spend your efforts learning why your POTUS is so intend hiding his past history? Stop arguing with me over unknowns that are more questionable because of the secrecy!

Well, not ALL records, recall the school in Indonesia that a Sun Times Reporter managed to dig up before he clamped down on all his records— That would be the record that shows his religion as Islam (Google it).
There are also a number of other records from later in his life such as passports that are being concealed as well—likely due to the issue of forbidden travel on a US passport to Pakistan.
Before you get jumped on - travel to Pakistan from the US was not banned, just a warning. Most US citizens would not want to go on a pleasure jaunt to Pakistan at that time due to government turmoil.
he George Lopez pic was the most noticeable..but once you know it is there...you can see it in other pictures...I saw some of when he was on the campaign.
The COLB was issued in 2007, IIRC, others issued after 2000 or so, even for a 1930 birth, show a full 4 digits on the year. However the out of sequence file number is passing strange. He was born sooner, Friday night to their Saturday afternoon. His was filed even quicker, 4 days after the date of birth (Tuesday) verses 6 days (Friday). That apparently put theirs into the next edition of the paper too, at least according to this post and the accompanying image.
I'm highly suspicious that it would take so long to find the Nordyke announcement though.
Would that list include Lou Dobbs and the Congressman who recently called for the Long Form release?
You say that travel to Pakistan was not forbidden. Are you so sure? I’ve found internet sites claiming it was....
BTW, any ideas about who paid for his trip?
Gonna ask how do you know for sure it was not banned. I found sites saying it was....
Here’s a little info on the Pakistan trip when he was in college and went to Indonesia to visit his mom and then on to Pakistan with his college room mate. I have no idea if any is true or even partially true.

There is at least one lower, but the birth date is cut off, there might be more that were also cut off.

His was supposedly in an earlier edition of the paper. But that itself is odd, since he was born on Friday after regular business hours, and you'd think all the weekend births would get filed together. Or at least most of them. Yet there are lots of Aug. 6 births shown on that image, which was Sunday. The Obama announcement appeared on Aug. 13, while this Nordyke one appears to be from Aug. 16th. The announcements on the 13th include birth dates from the 2nd to the 6th. While the visibile ones from the paper of the 16th show birth dates from the 4th through the 9th. (the one from the 4th is the 3rd from the top, the Fonua daughter)
The two pages seem to be formated differently, and the one from the 13th shows none of the streaks and cracks that the one of the 16th shows.
You're the one claiming he spent it all on birther lawsuits. That puts the burden of proof on you, not me.
There was a travel advisory against it, but Americans could travel to Pakistan.
That said, it would have been easier and probably safer to travel on a passport from a country with signifigant Muslim population, or at least a non-US passport.
It's been pretty definitively debunked. Freepers have told about visiting there in that time period. There WAS a State Department advsory about Pakistan at that time. What it said was that you could get a tourist visa when you arrived at the airport in Karachi, but that if you were crossing the border from India you needed to get one beforehand, because they didn't give them out at the border. Doesn't sound like much of a travel ban. You can read the advisory here.
Finally, the Reagan adminstration was sending billions in economic and military aid to Pakistan in 1981. Not exactly the way we treat countries with travel bans.
They came from neither the hospital nor the family, but rather the Health Bureau. That's why it says, "Health Bureau Statistics" at the top of the page.
Sorry, I don’t trust FactCheck.org—bias potential too strong as he had dealings with Annenberg in Chicago. I have heard that his room mate is at Pepsico. I also know that Tony Resco set him up in million dollar home thru shady finance deals....
I like many just find it very disconcerting that “the most transparent administration in our country’s history” has a Commander and Chief for which only one or 2 minor records have been made public (and one is because it came out prior to his campaign). It begs (no, it screams) the question “WHY??”

True, but there would be an amended, or newly issued, long form, showing his new name and new father.
He could have legally changed his name back, but he could not, AFAIK, change the name of his father back.
