“Inspector” Lucas Smith claimed in comments on YouTube to have examined all newspaper birth announcements from August through December of 1961, not finding the birth announcement of the Nordyke twins (born at the same hospital as President Obama, one day later). Whether not finding was through oversight or fraud, the birth announcement is there in the newspaper on August 16 (Obama’s announcement was on August 13).
Birthers have attempted to discredit the Obama birth announcement claiming, against testimony of the newspaper and the Hawaii Department of Health that such announcements came from the department, that anyone could place such an “ad”. The very newspaper heading does not say “Birth Announcements” but rather “Health Bureau Statistics” if anyone needed further confirmation of what the announcements are. If a contemporary birth were omitted, then one would ask how, if the Health Department submitted the announcements, could one be omitted. It turns out that the objection is a fake, because the announcement is there just as it should be according to official policy. This announcement, just as the original Obama announcement, was found and published by an industrious blogger.

We’ve had info on Gore, he flunked Divinity school, and Bush. Kerry hid his records. And so has Obama. Obama has had all school records placed off limits. There’s got to be a reason.

They guy has had head/skull/brain surgery ..obviously he has had a “wounded head” (like the Antichrist????)...perhaps this is why he refused to disclose medical records.
What I want is to see his grades etc. The man can't speak even WITH a teleprompter so he's not that bright. And I want to see citizenship. Even Fight the Smears Truth says he had dual citizenship.

the George Lopez pic was the most noticeable..but once you know it is there...you can see it in other pictures...I saw some of when he was on the campaign.

To be fair, the number itself isn't completely made up. It's based on the amount the "Obama for America" campaign organization has reported paying the Perkins Coie law firm. What's made up is the idea that all that money has been spent on fighting birther cases--there's no evidence for that. It would also mean the law firm got more than $27,000 for each case, which is kind of ridiculous. It can't take long to mail out what, at this point, must be practically a form letter.

It still doesn’t makes sense to me why Obama was born the day before the twins but his number is later than theirs. Also, his number has “1961” where theirs has “61”. Why would the state issue a different number sequence for him?

Just curious: Is the Nordyke name the last name on the Aug. 16, 1961 newspaper birth listing as it appears on the website?
1. That is, in the original newspaper listing, are there any births listed below the Nordyke name who were also born on Aug. 5, or born on Aug.4, or born Aug.3, etc.?
2. Does anyone have a copy of the original entire birth listing that was in the newspaper Aug. 16 that shows the names below the Nordyke name, if there are any such names?
3. Why isn't Obama's name on that list, when he supposedly was born on Aug. 4? Thanks.
