Kristallnacht also known as Night of Broken Glass was an anti-Jewish pogrom in Nazi Germany on November 9th-10th 1938. Kristallnacht was the day Hitler's final solution "came out of the closet" It is viewed by many historians as the beginning of the final solution, leading towards the genocide of the Holocaust

This was done by the Hitler Youth, Gestapo,and the SS. Kristallnacht also served as a pretext and a means for the wholesale confiscation of firearms from German Jews. Kristallnacht was part of a broader Nazi policy of antisemitism and persecution of the Jews. Kristallnacht was followed by further economic and political persecutions.

...and Jews still don’t have a problem with supporting people that will take their guns away, and Jews continue to, by a HUGE margin, support a political party that would not mind a bit if Israel was glassified - and didn’t seem to mind at all that a mini-version of Kristallnach was taking place in Crown Heights (NY) in the 1990s. Yes, I agree, things have changed very little...considering what Jews have been through.

I’m with you - it seems TOTALLY senseless. Jews are the ONLY identifiable group, that I know of, that intentionally and by huge numbers, vote against their pocketbook (i.e., overall a very wealthy group that keeps voting and financing Democrats). I have much more respect for black voters...as they vote for whomever will give them the most (since they generally are not nearly as wealthy as rest of the country)...it may not be helping them in the long run, but their vote does make some sense.
You assume American Jews consider Israel a priority.
You also assume that self-identified Jews are actually Jewish, and not merely socialist.
But as a reasonably observant Jew, I will opine the reason American Jews, as a group, are generally liberal is an accident of history. In Europe Jews were denied the right to own land; thus they became urban. This remains the case today. Urban people in the United States are overwhelmingly liberal.
Indeed, I doubt the voting patterns of Jews (in cities) is one whit different than urban Roman Catholics.

Ok, let me put it another way.
Most Jews do NOT live in the cities. Most Jews have families and car very much for them and stay as far away from the cities as they can (i.e., live in the suburbs, like anyone else that can afford it). Yet these same Jews continue to support DEMOCRATS in HUGE numbers, even though their neighbors figured out the game decades ago and started voting Republican.
It’s really sad that the only defenders both Jews in this country and Israel have are devout Christian conservatives. And how do the Jews thank the Christians, by funding the ACLU.
But regardless...Christians will continue to do what’s right, regardless of whether they are appreciated.
Well, I say that 90% of Jews live in the rural midwest, and yet they STILL vote Democratic and make it very difficult to get well-qualified conservatives elected.
Don’t like me pulling numbers out of thin air, do we? Well then, answer this question:
If there are 6.5 million Jews in the United States

and 2/7s of them live in Manhattan, then there must be 1.85 million Jews living in Manhattan.
Considering that the population of Manhattan is 1.6 million

and I know FOR CERTAIN that there is at least one black in Manhattan (Al Sharpton, you know guy Jews keep empowering by voting Democratic), your stats are WORTHLESS.
In order to have a CIVIL discussion, it is important that NEITHER side be an apologist and that both sides use verifiable FACTS.
There are 1,750,000 self-identified Jews in the NYC metro area.
