Editors Note: In December ‘08 a retired CIA officer commissioned an investigator to look into the Barack Obama birth certificate and eligibility issue. On July 21, 2009 westernjournalism.com obtained a copy of the investigator’s report. Here is an unedited version of the report.

I think that I now understand the legal background to the question of where Obama was born.
Let’s begin with the statement that Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health released on October 31, 2008. The television and print media used this statement as a reason to prevent and treat with contempt any investigation into whether Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii. But the language of the statement was so carefully hedged and guarded that it should have had the opposite effect.
“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record. Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”

I think you do this absolutely on purpose. I have seldom seen a poster who is so skilled at deconstructing an entire thread to heap vitriol on the entire number of people who post to it, then swear to high heaven that it was NEVER your fault.

Crap, now you have me thinking way too deep! At first I thought perhaps the mod was an anti-birther siding w/ Buckeye; however, what if the mod is a birther, who wants to cause trouble for anti-birther?
A mod needs to be unbiased, and if he or she can't, then they need to remove themselves from the "mod" business.

Obama acts as a Marxist-Socialist revolutionary in the White House. Let's say he IS a Natural Born Citizen, but he is an unabashed Marxist-Socialist. Worse yet, he pretends not to be. Would that bother you? |

The mods don't have control over the ping list and I'll just hazard a guess that even if things had been done as you suggest, the reaction would have been the same because of who was doing the pinging. You would have accused him of pinging the after-birthers.
We all belong to ping lists. When one of us comes across something we feel should be pinged to the list, we ping our "ping leader" with a comment to ping the list. Every mod should know how it's done. And if they don't, they shouldn't be a mod.
That's exactly what Admin Moderator did. You're the ones who assigned some anterior motive to the ping.
Would it bother me? No. I have a similar bumper sticker on my car.

I did read the article, there was nothing on it to deserve the description, SPECIAL INVESTIGATION everything it contained could have been picked up from reading FR threads. I saw the post as nothing but SPAM for the posters website.
A big fat welcome for a newbie who hit and ran. that’s all this was about. A non-event.
But it wasn’t totally a waste. I got called (collectively)a birther by the leader of the welcoming committee.
