What You Need Know, And What The Press Won't Tell You About Temple Mount

Religion is at the heart of dispute over the Temple Mount, but maybe not the way you think. To the Jews it is the site of the Two Holy Temples erected to God. It is also one of only three places in the Tanach (the Jewish Scriptures) that talks about a financial transaction where a Jew purchased the land. Scholars believe the transaction was written about to show Jewish ownership of that land:

King David then bought the site from the Jebusites, as it is written (II Samuel 24:24):

"David bought the threshing-floor... for fifty pieces of silver."

Ever since then, the Temple Mount has been the eternal possession of the Jewish People (see II Samuel 24; I Chronicles 21).

Muslims on the other hand, seek deny that there was any Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. In fact it is part of their tradition to co-opt holy places of other religions to their faith. Despite the fact that the Quaran does not mention Jerusalem, they ascribe a mention of Muhammad visiting the "distant place" to the Temple Mount.

In this era of disinformation being accepted as truth, the mainstream media has accepted the lies about the Temple Mount, so to help you separate the truth from the chaff, below is What You Need Know, And What The Press Won't Tell You About Temple Mount:

The Great Mosque of Córdoba (Andalusia, Spain) is an interesting comparison to the Temple Mount. When the moors conquered Spain, they tore down a Christian church and built their Great Mosque on the site. When they conquered Santiago de Compostelo, they took the bells from the church there, melted them down, and used the metal to make lamps for the Great Mosque, which by the way is an architectural gem.

Seven hundred years later, when the Spanish re-took Córdoba, Ferdinand had the mosque re-consecrated as a cathedral, and later Charles V came along and built a huge Gothic "chapel," a jewel in its own right, set down right in the middle of the Great Mosque. The impact that chapel makes when you see it is stunning, power and religion imposed in one large blow, and very satisfying.

I still think the Israelis should be a new temple using the western wall as a new east wall. Build a huge temple complex right next to the fake Muslim one. Build it high to overshadow the Muslim one. Stick it in the mooselimb's eyes!

The Muslims will protest and cry out for a "new" holy war on Israel? They never ended the last one!

From the YID

The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al Husseini, used the Wall as a focal point for his anti-Zionist campaigns. He incited Muslims by proclaiming the Western Wall a holy Muslim site which Jews were trying to seize. The Western Wall, after having been ignored for centuries, was suddenly declared the spot to which Mohammed had tied his winged steed during his Night Journey.

The Wall was renamed Al Buraq after the horse.

Notice name similarities?

(a.) Haj Amin al Husseini as in Barrack Hussein Obama

(b.) Al Buraq as in Barrack

--

As usual the YID brings important insight to us.

The Temple Mount is so holy to muslims they solute it by pointing their rumps towards it when they pray.

What purpose is building A temple, using the western wall as the eastern wall.

It was GOD who told them where to build it. It was GOD who ascribed the dimensions. It is GOD who makes it Holy.

What you suggest is just MAN placating man, thinking he is doing something for God.

This so called temple would mean nothing to either Jews or Christians. And would cause a lot of violence and blood shed for no reason, except to tick off the mooselimbs.

I find it interesting that Israel, a nation of 6 million (mostly secular) people, surrounded by Arab/Muslim countries of almost 1 BILLION people, is such a pain to them.

The Arab god must be a real wimp, if his 1 billion, mostly devoted followers, can't overcome a mear 6 million secular Jewish followers.

I doubt it would tick off the mooselimbs any more than they already are, LOL! As for it being an excuse for causing more violence . . .I don't think they feel they really need one, but, sure, they could tell "the world" (read: media) that the temple offends them. The answer to that is: If the mooselimbs can have a temple, why can't the Isrealis?

Yes, God told the Israelites where to build The Temple - but who says they can't build another temple anywhere they want?
Sure, a temple on the west side wouldn't be "the" Temple. The Israelis know that. You and I know that. Even the head-muzzies probably know that, but they'd never be sure.

Personally, I'm sick and tired of not trying to offend anyone. You don't see the muzzies trying not to offend. So I could care less for the threat of "violence and bloodshed" (which is already occuring on a daily basis anyway).
It's time to stand up and get in their faces. It's time to tell the media to explain why the muzzies can have a temple and not the Israelis.

I know . . that's easy to for me to say while I stay "safe" here in the U.S. and not on the front line in Israel. Well, I can see a time when we here in the U.S. may need to stand up and sacrifice for the greater good to defend ourselves from the socialism and fascism creeping into our nation now. I'll be ready to do my part.

Unfortunately there are no words in my Texas vocabulary that are strong enough to describe my contempt for him.

That says a lot.

Mark 13:2 (King James Version)

2And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Not one stone ......

But the stones of the walls were not mentioned.............

So if the muslims think they have rights to the Temple Mount, why doesn't Israel claim Mecca and Medina? Turn about is fair play. And they might just get into yet another rage induced fit and it would keep their little minds off the Temple Mount. Just a thought.

Jews don’t make stuff to fit the opportunity. That is a characteristic of Islam. Whatever is good for the Mohammedan Jihad right now is a Basic Tenet of Islam,

[20] And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground.

[21] And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people.

[22] And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood.

[23] All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee.

[24] And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

[25] And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

First off, 2 Samuel 24:24 does not imply anything about the Temple Mount. Nothing!

Secondly 1 Chronicles 21

[21] Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,

also has NOTHING to do with the Temple Mount as this article unashamedly claims!

I stopped reading there.

Don’t people KNOW their Bible?

Don’t you CHECK what is being stated?

Or is this your problem?

2Tim.4:3

[3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Yes, we all want Him to take us away for this nightmare but please be careful about what you BELIEVE.
