Donald Trump tried to tamp down a newly revived campaign dust-up Friday over his views on President Obama’s birthplace, declaring the president was born in the United States – “period” – after declining to make that statement earlier this week.
The Republican presidential nominee also tried to blame Hillary Clinton for starting the controversy back in 2008, which her team denies. He cast his remarks as a bid to put the issue to rest once and for all, at a time when his poll numbers are rising.
“Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy. I finished it,” Trump said in Washington, D.C. “President Barack Obama was born in the United States, period. Now we all want to get back to making America strong and great again.”

Of course, what will be completely missed by the low info types and the drive by's is that:
1. Trump didn't say Barry is a natural born Citizen as mandated by the Constitution (most important point)
and
2. Trump didn't say the BC Barry released was genuine - He didn't say the listed father, mother or state is factual.
Perhaps this is Trump's camp trying to pin the so called "birther" issue on Hillary.
Trump may remember this, and in only a few scant months from now turn it back on the Assmedia.
President Trump next year could just as well state new evidence has come to his attention that Obama was not born in Hawaii or the United States where he opens up an official government investigation.

Donald Trump took $5 million in charitable donations off the table on Thursday as his self-proclaimed "very, very big" offer for President Obama's college records expired with a whimper.
Trump had offered to donate the cash to a charity of Obama’s choice if the president coughed up all of his school and passport records. His deadline for the offer expired at noon without comment by the Obama campaign.
Trump said Thursday that if Obama had accepted his offer, $5 million "could have provided substantial aid to a variety of great causes, including the victims of Hurricane Sandy.”
The President last year released his long-form birth certificate, from Hawaii, in an effort to end speculation he might have been born outside the U.S.
But Trump claimed Thursday that Obama’s silence meant only one thing:
“Obviously he wasn’t born in this country or, if he was, he said he wasn’t in order to receive financial aid and in order to have a clear and very easy path into a college or university. Only a very stupid person would believe otherwise.”
Indeed.

Thus Bill Clinton’s remark, on Hussein, “His life is the biggest fairy tale that’s ever been told!” and much later, when questioned on Hussein, Slick said, “Anyone whose... Constitutionally qualified,... should be able to run for potus.”

It was the Clinton investigators who uncovered and released the photograph of Hussein in white traditional muslim garb with his so called ‘relatives’ from Africa.
The Clintons have always known he is a fraud and were unable to uncover enough evidence to destroy him. Lots of scrubbing during those years and HillBill were several years too late in their exploration.
Hussein’s Middle Eastern backers were able to out-buy the Clinton DNC machine. Once Hussein made his 2006 trip to Damascus he was all but guaranteed the presidency. He met with the Arab heads of state and they promised to triple whatever campaign monies Clinton (or anyone else) would be able to raise.
This allowed him to pay thousands of people nationwide to run his campaign. Hillary never stood a chance against him. No one did.
- In reality, those of us who are a bit older remember that the Klown HIMSELF claimed he was born in Kenya. There used to be a video of him as a state senator asked why he does not run for president and from his own mouth he claims he was born in Kenya.
The fly leaf cover of his first book, first edition claims he was born in Kenya. His grandmother in Kenya claimed on a video interview she was at the birth. There are a couple of good reasons to question his sudden, new claim to having been born in Hawaii.
- If they ask Trump in the debate “So do you still think Obama wasn’t born in this country? “ , he should answer “No, but the thing that still puzzles me is that a few weeks before the last election, I offered Obama 50 million dollars - to be donated to his favorite charity- if he would release his college records - application form and such. He declined. I am sure there would have been many charities of Obamas choosing that would have welcomed that money. But he declined.What does that tell you.?”
I am sure a majority of voters have never heard about that offer.
- The reason that all this started to begin with, was, Zero ordered all his records sealed - from grade-school on - a rather remarkable action from a one-term unknown and unremarkable politician.
So it was and remains reasonable to have questioned who Zero was in light of his and his families’ deceptive practices. It also remains questionable whether Zero ever fit the natural born citizen requirement, which some people believe means both parents must be natural-born citizens (and, preferably, their parents, too).
Because of the unsettled definition of ‘natural born citizen’, this election cycle we saw challenges to the requirement with the candidacy of Rubio and of Cruz, and we can expect more challenges going forward.
What shows the hypocracy of the Left is, we were supposed to accept Zero’s citizenship at face value and without questioning - without a birth certificate or school records or even employment history - and not to do so would be ‘racist’.
Yet eight years later, Melania is being racked over the coals by reporters regarding her citizenship status, as Trump is lambasted by the Left for wanting a strong immigration policy when he ‘has an immigrant wife’ (as if one has anything to do with the other).
- In contrast to the MSM’s smug certainty that Obama was born in Hawaii, let’s not forget that the Kenyan ambassador to the United States stated in an interview on a Detroit FM radio station that the Kenyan government intended to create a monument to honor Obama at his birthplace in Kenya.
(That interview was conducted on the day after Obama’s victorious 2008 presidential election). Furthermore, at least three different members of the Kenyan Parliament made congratulatory statements before that body declaring Obama’s birth in Kenya, as noted in the Parliament’s contemporaneous transcripts.
Now the MSM and the ‘Rats, in the interest of bashing Trump, are putting out the absurd notion that anyone who has doubts about Obama’s birthplace is a “racist.”

That's why I never personally bought into the Natural Born argument. You have to know who his mother and father really were before you can go there.

Looking at the audience, it seems to me they are all Middle Eastern, not American. It’s possible this gathering took place in Cairo where he made his first overseas speech in 2009. And this is a select group at which he didn’t expect to be filmed.

I am shocked at the audacity of Hillary Clinton to decry Donald Trump as a birther because her campaign not only pushed that item in a bid to discredit Barack Obama, but mounted a sustained campaign attack Obama on a broad array of issues. How do I know? I was part of that effort and was in regular email and phone coordination with Sidney Blumenthal. Sidney was the conduit who fed damaging material to me that I subsequently posted on my blog.
In some cases Sid Blumenthal actually provided a draft piece that I would slightly modify and publish under my name. Most of the time, however, Sid provided background information and researched material that I would use to craft pieces. How many? I am providing the links to 63 blog articles that I posted (and in one case was posted by Susan Hudgens, who assisted with the blog) between January 2008 and June 30, 2008.
