The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long
B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.
D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.
D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.
G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located
D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives
F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.
C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.
E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

On May 30th we were all shocked when a young American high-school graduate disappeared while vacationing on the island of Aruba. Since then, the Aruban and Netherlands authorities, in close cooperation with United States officials and the citizens of Aruba, are conducting an intense search and a full investigation into the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Much to the dismay of everyone, there has been no sign of her thus far and the pain grows deeper with every passing day. On behalf of the people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, I want to express my sympathy and support to the family and friends, and to all who are committing their time and efforts to finding Natalee.
The investigation is being conducted according to the rule of law. The legal system of Aruba is identical to that of the Netherlands, which receives the highest marks from the United States Department of State. It differs from the US system but it is as effective.
Of course, we are all working closely together. The Royal Netherlands Marines, the Joint Dutch Aruban Investigation Team, the Netherlands Forensic Institute, the Coast Guard for the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba and Dutch legal experts are assisting the local authorities in Aruba together with US authorities, including the Department of State and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
I fully understand and appreciate the feelings of the many Americans who have expressed their legitimate concerns to my Embassy. As the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, I want to reassure the American people that everything is being done to resolve this tragic case. We are standing together in our efforts and our hope.

The upcoming dogfight over Sandra Day O'Conner's replacement will soon take Natalee off the front burner as far as what we see on a day-to-day basis on the the news.
I bet there are LOTS of people in Aruba right now who may feel like sending O'Conner a Thank You card.

"I did hear that if you paid a certain amount to the cops that they would give you permission to have raves….this came from a “poster” in reihl world….he also said that if you are alone at night on the beach with a love interest…that the police would get their turn at the girl plus get your money and jewlery in order to “look the other way”."

He said that after they detained him, they only interrogated him once, where he told the same story, the same story he told them with they questioned him as a witness. He also said he never told his son to lie, on the contrary he always told Joran to tell the truth

On the fact that Joran changed his story, the mother says she doesn not know exactly why, but she is sure her son would not have harmed the girl, because Joran always respected females.

Howlin, did you observe that POS they call a Police Chief while Greta was interviewing him. Note: his constant looking down and avoiding eye contact. He is involved in this charade and the cover-up. Note" him running his fingers through his hair. Nervous impulse, of wanting not te be reminded of his clandestine actions and wanting to flee.
He is nothing more than an idiot/perp with a badge. He had the authority to call out the Dutch Marines all along. His responses to Greta, were a stonewall tactics. He and the rest are covering for the VDS POS's and the Kadpoles Bros.

Perhaps the Texas search team should let the cadaver dogs search all the police stations including the basements. That would really cause an uproar, but they should try anyway.
I would like to see (President Bush) show some concern on this side show circus investigation in Aruba. I think he is too, concerned with giving Africa another billion dollars in their hopeless (aids epidemic population control programs)

Beth knew more before she went to Joran's than we know now. She knows everyone from watching the videos that Natalee was involved with.
She knows Natalee had dinner with someone other than Joran and she knows who it is, but she cannot get to Joran to get the truth. I don't think I have ever heard her accuse Joran of doing anything to Natalee, but withholding the truth.
I am sure Beth's greatest fear must have been a plane crash. How was she to ever in her wildest dreams, imagine what tragedy would befall her family.

I understand the law in Aruba does not allow the use of polygraphs. In the US, polygraph test results are not allowed in court but they can still be adminstered with the defendants permission. I would assume an individual in Aruba can volunteer to take a polygraph. Does anyone know if they have asked Joran to take a polygraph? If he refuses we will be more certain of his involvement. If he takes it I dare say the machine will be smoking.
