The place is a damned sewer. Some decent people are there but afraid of everything,,the government, the corrupt businesses, the local druggies. Damn, sounds like a new kind of hell.

Don't forget those "low crime statistics" Looks as if life in Aruba is one big sham. I have always thought that the "local reporters" appear more scared to death than incompetent.

Read this scary bit of info a few nights ago on scared monkeys:
"I did hear that if you paid a certain amount to the cops that they would give you permission to have raves….this came from a “poster” in reihl world….he also said that if you are alone at night on the beach with a love interest…that the police would get their turn at the girl plus get your money and jewlery in order to “look the other way”."
If the police or government tried to interfere with the drug trafficing you would find dead bodies turning up.
