  • Trump’s Right That The GOP Primary Is Unfair — It Favors Him

After getting shut out at the Colorado conventions, Trump has been complaining that the Republican primary process is undemocratic and rigged. ...it’s true that some Republican votes are worth a lot more than others. “One person, one vote” — or the idea that every voter should have equal say in an election — is not the rule in the GOP primary system. The irony, however, is that Trump has benefited from this imbalance.... Trump has won a higher share of delegates than votes in 24 of the 35 contests studied (67 percent), most notably in winner-take-all contests. Winner-take-all statewide contests...

(CNSNews.com) - Speaking at the University of Chicago Law School yesterday, President Barack Obama criticized what he described as the difficulty of voting in the United States of America. “We really are the only advanced democracy on Earth that systematically and purposely makes it really hard for people to vote,” he said. “Maybe the single biggest change that we could make in our political process that would reduce some of the polarization, make people feel more invested, restore integrity to the system, would be just make sure everybody is voting,” said Obama. “Australia has got mandatory voting. You start getting...

Sexism is driving women away from the GOP front-runner Donald Trump and the Republican Party, potentially providing a windfall to Hillary Clinton in a general election. But to ride women's discontent into the Oval Office, of course, Clinton has to win the Democratic nomination. And while she has maintained a strong advantage with women voters overall, she's not doing well with all women. White millennial women favor Bernie Sanders. Perhaps that's because the best rationale for Clinton's candidacy hasn't been effectively communicated to millennial women. There is a powerful case to be made for electing a woman president, and it...

The ALRB is acting as an arm of, and on behalf of the United Farm Workers labor union, rather than farm workers The Agricultural Labor Relations Board has spent $10.8 million to prevent Gerawan Farming Workers 2013 votes from being counted—more than $4,100 per vote to deny farmworkers their legal rights to be heard. The Agricultural Labor Relations Board is also being sued for bias and conflicts of interest, and has been found actively and openly working on behalf of the United Farm Workers Labor union, rather than farm workers. And this takes money… a lot of money.

The primaries held in Arizona and Utah yesterday yielded results that probably cheered the hearts of some. Trump won Arizona, and Cruz won Utah. That aside, and I'm not a resident of either state, I have some concerns that really have nothing to do with the candidate we might support. Fair disclosure says that I acknowledge my support for Donald Trump. I don't think these observations, however, have anything to do with that. My observation is that these primaries -- and please forgive me for using primary as a catch all for primaries, caucuses, etc. -- were handled very poorly...

mmigration: Meddling dangerously in American democracy with a not-so-secret motive, the Mexican government is quietly aiding its citizens in the U.S. to become eligible to vote in our elections. “Mexico is mounting an unprecedented effort to turn its permanent residents in the U.S. into citizens, a status that would enable them to vote — presumably against Donald Trump,” says Bloomberg Business. The story goes on: “Mexican diplomats are mobilizing for the first time to assist immigrants in gaining U.S. citizenship, hosting free workshops on naturalization.” But contrary to the claim in the Bloomberg piece, the goal isn’t solely to keep...

A project of the Committee To Restore America's Greatness CONTACT 1-855-245-4634 TO REPORT IRREGULARITIES OR VOTER FRAUD. The Trump Ballot Security Project was formed when the main stream media reported dozens of voting irregularities in the Texas Republican primary. This ultimately totaled over 600 reports in at least six counties including Dallas County and Travis County. In virtually every case votes cast for Donald J. Trump were tallied for Senator Marco Rubio. We established a Toll Free number to collect further reports of voter irregularities. Almost immediately there were over 300 complaints from Oklahoma. Only a week later the Kansas...

The head of a conservative group whose videos prompted the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office to open a probe of possible voting law violations during the first-in-the-nation primary campaign has scheduled a news conference in Concord on Thursday. Project Veritas, headed by activist James O’Keefe, said that it has not received a response from the Attorney General’s Office to its offer to cooperate in the investigation. O’Keefe will meet with reporters at the Legislative Office Building. Stephen Gordon, a Project Veritas spokesman, confirmed that among the topics O’Keefe will discuss is the Attorney General’s request for unedited, raw versions of...

With certain exceptions, people who pay no taxes, and people who receive cash or equivalents from the government, should not be allowed to vote Most people recognize the expression “skin in the game” and accept that it means those persons who have something of value at risk have purchased a specific privilege or right deemed worthy of the gamble. Those without “skin in the game”, non-players in effect, are not entitled to the same privilege or right. If you have ever played poker with your buddies you know you are not entitled to be dealt a hand and perhaps rake...

It's not impossible that Donald Trump finishes in third place in Ohio. The latest Ohio polls show a barn-burner between John Kasich and Trump, but they also show a distinctive Ted Cruz surge in the past 10 days. Snapshot Six pollsters have surveyed Ohio Republicans in March. RealClearPolitics averages the last four, and derives an average that shows Kasich up 35.3 percent, two points ahead of Trump. Ted Cruz's average over those four polls is 20 percent. Rubio is in single digits in all four polls and will finish fourth in Ohio. One of four polls (PPP) shows Trump leading....

Tomorrow is an important day in the United States. Millions of people across the nation will be voting in our primary elections to choose a nominee for the post of President of the United States. This next presidential election is especially crucial for our nation. Our country has become highly divided along many different lines. The way in which the next president leads and the values he or she possesses will play a big part in determining the future success or failure of this country. With the weight of this heavy responsibility in mind, the questions must be asked: Should...

Madison -- A state Supreme Court justice on Tuesday urged Gov. Scott Walker to allow people to use veterans ID cards to vote after her uncle who fought at Iwo Jima was unable to cast a ballot in last week's primary election. "It makes no sense to me that this proud patriot with a veterans card displaying his photo would be turned away from the polls and denied the right to vote," Justice Ann Walsh Bradley wrote to the Republican governor. In her letter, Bradley said her uncle had fought at Iwo Jima, the bloody World War II battle that...
  • Why this election makes me hate the word ‘evangelical’

It wasn’t even intentional on my part. I just noticed a few weeks ago that I had stopped describing myself to people as an “evangelical.” I had begun, subconsciously, to say that I am a “gospel Christian.” When I caught myself doing this, I wondered why and the answer wasn’t long in coming. The word “evangelical” has become almost meaningless this year, and in many ways the word itself is at the moment subverting the gospel of Jesus Christ. Part of the problem is that more secular people have for a long time misunderstood the meaning of “evangelical,” seeing us...

Clinton Eugene Curtis, a computer programmer from Florida, testified before a congressional panel that there are computer programs that can be used to secretly fix elections. He explains how he created a prototype for Florida Congressman Tom Feeny that would flip the vote 51%-49% in favor of a specified candidate. This happened all the way back in 2001 but you might not have heard anything about this claim unless you searched for it. I've seen a Wired News report on this topic and a few local Florida newspaper stories but otherwise, no real media coverage has been provided. You'd think...

"The Obama Administration's lackeys at Attorney General Loretta Lynch's Justice Department are doing everything in their power to allow their new illegal alien power base to vote." That was Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning's reaction to the Department of Justice's decision not to defend the Election Assistance Commission in the case League of Women Voters v. Newby. The Commission had provided that the federal voter registration form would include Alabama, Georgia and Kansas requirements to enforce their respective state proof-of-citizenship voter registration laws. The Justice Department, which is supposed to defend the Commission, actually consented to the filed...

Went and early voted today. Had to wait in line to vote, first time. Had to wait for a voting both, first time, usually most are empty. Heard the poll watchers say that over 700 people voted today at my location, which is unheard of in our little municipality in one day. While I was there, out of about 30 people, 28 asked for Republican Ballots and 2 asked for Democrat Ballots. Could have been some cross-over voters, but I really don't think so.

When Ugandans went to the polls last Thursday in presidential and parliamentary elections, they participated in the most heavily-contested political battle since multiparty democracy began in 2005. But they also discovered that their access to social media and mobile payment services had been cut off, part of a three-day ban by the government that limited political discussion and temporarily halted financial transactions across the country. When the dust had cleared, incumbent, 30-year president Gen. Y.K. Museveni had been re-elected for another five-year term along with his National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, the leader of the largest opposition party was under...
