(CNSNews.com) - Speaking at the University of Chicago Law School yesterday, President Barack Obama criticized what he described as the difficulty of voting in the United States of America.
“We really are the only advanced democracy on Earth that systematically and purposely makes it really hard for people to vote,” he said.
“Maybe the single biggest change that we could make in our political process that would reduce some of the polarization, make people feel more invested, restore integrity to the system, would be just make sure everybody is voting,” said Obama. “Australia has got mandatory voting. You start getting 70-80 percent voting rates, that's transformative.”

most of my members don’t vote
they don’t vote because they don’t agree with the dems (or the republicans, especially on outsourcing jobs, bedroom politics and free trade)
if they register to vote, they come up on vote rolls
belonging to the wrong party = little or no work
so voting = no car payment or mortgage payment
better not to vote at all
so forced voting = giant crap sandwich
vote dem or don’t get union assignment - job / don’t eat
if they were FORCED to vote, they would vote dem 9 out of 10 times (but that’s the idea isn’t it?)
Typical Obama. Government decree his answer for everything. THERE IS NO MANDATORY VOTING IN AUSTRALIA. You have to present at the voting station, but you don’t have to vote. Which is why, in some electoral booths, the result might be 15% ‘informal’ voting. That’s where a voter writes FREE WEED across his ballot paper, or perhaps doesn’t mark it at all.

From what I understand, Australia doesn’t have mandatory voting. The only requirement is that all eligible voters show up at their polling places and sign in.
As usual, the only ones who want slavery back are the blacks.
