Computer Programmer testifies "US ELECTIONS RIGGED".
Youtube ^ | 09/07/11

Clinton Eugene Curtis, a computer programmer from Florida, testified before a congressional panel that there are computer programs that can be used to secretly fix elections. He explains how he created a prototype for Florida Congressman Tom Feeny that would flip the vote 51%-49% in favor of a specified candidate.

This happened all the way back in 2001 but you might not have heard anything about this claim unless you searched for it. I've seen a Wired News report on this topic and a few local Florida newspaper stories but otherwise, no real media coverage has been provided. You'd think claims of election rigging software would be splattered all over the News yet as it turns out, our news media prefers to point out voting fraud in other nations but not here in THE UNITED STATES.

Mr Curtis a Software programmer who worked for NASA, Exxon Mobil & the US Department of Transportation in a sworn-oath deposition testifies that US elections are rigged by inserting software into the voting system. The timing of this deposition was just after George W Bush being re-elected president of the United States. We are not surprised that this never made it into the main stream media.

Mr Curtis goes on to name US Representatives who attempted to pay him to rig their election vote counts.

Incredible testimony. Hopefully this has been addressed. Why am I not surprised?

Actually, I believe that it would have been the contrary. The long knives were out for Bush because of the USSC Florida decision. So much so in fact there were at least two newspapers that actually got the ballots from the whole state and went over them one by one to prove the case of hanging chads and fraud......you never heard about it because the end results were that Bush won Florida, fairly.

If anything, I'd believe that the 'testimony' was suppressed by Democrats because that would be right up their alley.

Yep and they probably used it in 2012.

I think it’s good to always keep both a paper trail and a computer tally. That way they can avoid people trying to steal elections.

Reminds me of an old quote,

“The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.” -Joseph Stalin

How is this a secret? Anything that can be programmed one way can be programmed another way.
You put as many safeguards and checks in place as possible, like anything else done with programs and hope for the best, just like everything else.
People act like there was never any fraud or cheating in elections before this..

I think an anti-Democrat candidate always has to have a natural following of better than 5% more than the Democrat in an honest poll. 5% seems to be the going natural max level of cheating at which Democrats are so very adept and not getting caught.

Paper ballots. God forbid we wait some extra time for actual results.

And record video of the counting. Paper votes could be “accidentally” lost or unfairly invalidated.

The biggest corruption happens before the election though. The media machine and tax payer funded education system are all pushing for one side before the first vote is cast.

Anything that can be programmed one way can be programmed another way.

True. And that is one reason I've had for advocating open-source voting systems.

A caucus vote was recorded in this last Iowa caucus and (I forget the exact number but it was something like 323 .. ) as the cam was recording and three or four people were "reporting" to the guy notating the figures, the number was verbally changed by a Hillary shirted worker to be 332 ... a "simple mistake" if caught.

I remember the cam recorded 4 or 5 more minutes and there was one feeble question, "332 ?" to which was replied, "Yes"

The original reporter of the vote, once having stated 323, had disappeared from the video because at that point the operatives moved in and around the tallyman and confused the vote

Perhaps someone also remembers this clip and can find it to post

This is what I am afraid of, massive voter fraud.

These electronic voting machines can be programmed any way the Supervisors of Elections want them to be. The Democrat Party used them in 2008. They used them in 2012 and they will use them in 2016 to put Hillary in the White House.

There are so many dirty tricks you can do with electronic devices! The most common I see is the screen calibration trick. If you fail to calibrate it, certain parts of the screen will be off slightly when you touch the screen. So your button press will actually select the candidate above or below your intended selection.

Elections should be a manual process with the ballot box always in view and witnesses allow to stand nearby and watch the vote count at the end of the day. This way everyone can witness the actual count for each precinct. Even if they lie when reporting the precinct numbers to election HQ, it would be caught.

The primary design criteria for any voting system is to protect the integrity of the vote even in the face of concerted efforts by insiders to defraud.

Vote fraud is an inherent feature of any voting system, which is why the paper ballot is the simplest and most secure system yet devised. It's inexpensive, provides a permanent record for recounts, and most important it is massively decentralized.

The latter is key as it means that while it is possible to tamper with an individual ballot box (due to local corruption) it is logistically very difficult to tamper with thousands of individual ballot boxes without such efforts going noticed.

“Paper ballots.”

They should have stuck with the “butterfly ballot” because after the 2000 fiasco and so-called mass confusion surrounding its layout and configuration, the media went on to explain with pictures and text what it was and how it was supposed to work

Only honest people can cause a constitutional republic to work correctly.

People without a moral compass will always be victims of crime and deceit.
