Being able to describe something accurately is the first step to understanding it, then fashioning a course of action. What happened in the House Speaker vote is that, although some opposition to Boehner began to surface, no candidate ran for the position against him. For days Mark Levin has been urging an opponent to run, but nobody did. Therefore, the options were Boehner, Pelosi, or continued votes without a winner. You can't beat somebody with nobody. Our supervisor just notified us that the accountant will be placing a 2% increase in payroll tax on our checks per the "Fiscal Cliff" bill. They lied to the American people and taxed everyone more. Some of you know I ran for County Supervisor and I won. I beat the incumbent Republican Supervisor (who raised taxes three years in a row), and went on to win the general. I took the oath of office today to upholds the Constitution and protect my Country from all enemies...foreign and domestic. And then we had a meeting and I fulfilled some campaign promises. A great day for me, and I wanted to share it with you.

Help! My daughter, who loves gaming, goes through headsets quite quickly. Can anyone recommend which brand and model to buy. I don't have a lot of money, but the really inexpensive headsets only seem to last a few months and therefore seem to be a poor value. I need to keep my land line, but I'm about ready to turn the ringer off which means real calls won't get my attention. This all really started at the change of the year, and may have something to do with the small political donations. Maybe. I don't know. But it starts in the morning and ends in the early evening. One is particular is GE Capital and I do absolutely no business with them. I went throught the "don't call" years ago. Anyone else experiencing this?

The word is out from Moodys Investor Service. The United States cannot keep its credit rating unless more is done beyond the "imperfect deal" agreed to by the political leaders of both parties in Washington. Reflecting on what was done it is impossible not to conclude that the deal was the beginning of what will be a series of European-style austerity measures coming out of Washington as demanded by the creditors holding onto this nations multi-trillion dollar debt.
