Why I am now a Trump Supporter (Vanity)
None | nmmi74

Posted on 03/30/2016 6:38:24 AM PDT by nmmi74

I know many will ridicule me but I am now a Trump supporter. I feel like what happened in Florida with his campaign manager was what happens anytime you are in a crowd. In other words normal course of business. People get pushed and pulled and bumped. Remember the last time you left a football game the same time 50,000 other people left. Do you remember bumping into any one in particular? No of course not. You certainly would remember knocking someone down or almost knocking them down. When asked if he grabbed someone so hard he almost knocked someone down Corey Lewandowski said he did not. If you watch the video he did touch her but no way she was almost knocked down and barely kept her balance. She embellished what happened to fit her narrative. Megan Kelly on Fox said “See there he touched her and that proves he lied”. He probably touched hundreds of people and when asked about knocking someone down or almost said no it did not happen. Which is true.

John Kasich said that could have been his daughter. Oh how terrible that someone in a crowd might actually touch her or bump into her. Talk about trying to take advantage of a situation. And Ted Cruz saying that this shows how violent Trumps campaign is getting. Really? How many people did Ted bump into this week? And he better be careful not to touch their arm when he is talking to them because that’s a crime in Florida. Can’t touch Hillary for her email’s but if you really touch someone on the arm you’ve committed a crime.

All of that said we still live in the greatest country in the world. Let’s all be thankful we live here and not somewhere else.

“........That might be the shallowest reason I’ve ever heard for backing a candidate for President.”......

Well, My support for Trump is not a “shallow reason”. What the GOPe, Cruz, Kasich and the rest of that ilk are trying to do to derail Trump only convinces me that Trump is a HUGE threat to their happy, crooked rats, den of thieves. I do not blame Trump at all for recently stating he will not support a “brokered” candidate should the GOPee pull that crap. The republicans have destroyed themselves, Trump has clearly shown exactly what they are, crooked bastards, the entire lot of them.

Once you recognize the outrageous attempts to stop Trump’s campaign, the feeling or disgust never goes away.

As I just posted, I WAS a Cruz and Trump Guy, who leaned heavy to Cruz. I was frustrated with the level of venom between the two crowds. I just didn't get it.

But when Cruz pi$$#d me off and I voted for Trump, I now see how the Cruzers are.
(not that some Trumpsters don't act like jr high girls in their adoration)

I've been on threads about this Fields/Lewandowski thing.

The Cruz people are putting as much hyperbole into it as Fields did.

You can point out second by second accounts and they refuse to acknowledge it. They just continue on with their rants.

I'm beginning to believe that some are actually subversives.

Non eligible, not Natural Born Citizen, Cuban-Canadian, Pinocchio Ted attacking Big Donald at CNN freestyle match.

Cruz "character":

1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote for Cruz.

2. Claiming Carson quit, presinc captains told voters "vote for Cruz"

3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video "vote for me" with his preacher/father stomping for him. Rafael Cruz is a Seven Mountain Dominionist and believes his son is the anointed one.

4. "Brilliant" lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP.

5. Making phony video advertising with lies about opponents.

6. Uses Trump's wife in advertising "vote for Cruz" and then screams that Trump hates women, while he "loves them" - keeping few extra mistresses.

Just enough to beat Trump in IA, apologize, rinse and repeat?
Liar is the polite term for this Cuban-Canadian. His father was pro-communist in Cuba, imprisoned by Batista, but now he is refugee?

IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN

(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a "natural born citizen" is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

That’s funny because on 1/27/16, two months ago, you posted this “my friends will tell you I’ve been saying Trump is the guy I would vote for”.

So which is it.

I was for him and then turned away because I reacted to what he did. As I stated in that January post. I’ve come full circle because of the current events. That’s why I said “Why I am NOW trump supporter”. Events cause us to change our minds. You too may change your mind a time or two about certain people.

Exactly what event led you to change your mind? Someone making a weak accusation against one of his supporters is enough for you to chage your mind and support him for President? No offense, but that makes zero sense because it has absolutely nothing to do with Trump himself.

I saw that also. What has bothered me about Cruz from day one is his delusions, his need for attention, add his cover ups plus he’s a real insider from the Bush Admin. Then take wife Heidi. She is a Goldman Sachs VP with an agenda dating back to NAFTA. Add she is a SDA, He is a Pentecostal and they lie about their real faith by listing Southern Baptist. Glen Beck is a Mormon talking about the Watchman. and back in Oct 2013 Rafael Cruz essentially pushed his son as the chosen one to divide up the wealth. Easter was Sunday. I do not want Ted Cruz or Heidi near the White House.

same here.

I would have thought by now that people would have woken up to who Cruz really is.
he said this

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech.

Now he is part of the establishment and helping them t get their contested election and the people voting for him are voting for the establishment regardless of they want to admit it to themselves.

Ted Cruz has made it very clear that he would be more than happy to accept the nomination for the Republican Party against the will of its voters.

That is all anyone needs to know.

The Cruz responses to this vanity are so telling! Someone tells you their personal opinion, and you either ridicule that person or tell them they are wrong.

And you wonder why people aren’t swarming to your candidate? It’s because your candidate is like his supporters.

You are drawing attention to how ridiculously petty, stupid and silly our political process and media has become.

The media is mostly to blame. They promote the Jr High food fights, then when all hell breaks out, they stand back in feigned horror and comment on how terrible everyone is acting.

The politicians, including Trump and Cruz are just as bad. They squander their opportunities to speak over the chaos and communicate directly with the American public about the issues we all care about.

That being said, Trump is my favorite candidate, even if he does lead the pack in Jr High stupidity. I keep hoping he will grow up.

I absolutely understand why conservatives reject the GOPe, I don't understand their rushing to embrace a leftist, big government blowhard as their savior.

It's like grabbing hold of an anchor as you jump ship.

Has to do with character.

People can see when something isn’t right and contrived to fit a narrative.

I think the Trump did it meme is being overused and beginning to backfire.

Well said.  I can see now that simple human decency, honesty, and manliness is the difference between Cruz and Trump.

The contrast is pretty remarkable.

Yesterday, Trump had a wonderful moment with a terminally ill woman who he helped and inspired.  It was the kind of candid testimonial that brings a tear to your eye.

Ted, meanwhile, wallows in the gutter with his ridiculous attacks on Trump and pretending the frame up of Corey Lewandowski is the greatest crime.

More than all Cruz's countless lies about his Canadian citizenship, dirty tricks on Carson, failure to report his finances, and more, Cruz is simply...

untrusTED!

The great state of Texas, home of real men and the Alamo, is hanging its head in shame today.

He is my consolation candidate. I would like to support him but the vitriol from the trumpanzees is so vile and almost always unprovoked. Kind of like DU trolls.
