Why I am now a Trump Supporter (Vanity)
None | nmmi74

Posted on 03/30/2016 6:38:24 AM PDT by nmmi74

I know many will ridicule me but I am now a Trump supporter. I feel like what happened in Florida with his campaign manager was what happens anytime you are in a crowd. In other words normal course of business. People get pushed and pulled and bumped. Remember the last time you left a football game the same time 50,000 other people left. Do you remember bumping into any one in particular? No of course not. You certainly would remember knocking someone down or almost knocking them down. When asked if he grabbed someone so hard he almost knocked someone down Corey Lewandowski said he did not. If you watch the video he did touch her but no way she was almost knocked down and barely kept her balance. She embellished what happened to fit her narrative. Megan Kelly on Fox said “See there he touched her and that proves he lied”. He probably touched hundreds of people and when asked about knocking someone down or almost said no it did not happen. Which is true.

John Kasich said that could have been his daughter. Oh how terrible that someone in a crowd might actually touch her or bump into her. Talk about trying to take advantage of a situation. And Ted Cruz saying that this shows how violent Trumps campaign is getting. Really? How many people did Ted bump into this week? And he better be careful not to touch their arm when he is talking to them because that’s a crime in Florida. Can’t touch Hillary for her email’s but if you really touch someone on the arm you’ve committed a crime.

All of that said we still live in the greatest country in the world. Let’s all be thankful we live here and not somewhere else.

Hi. I too was one until I saw cruz and Rubio shaking hands on that debate stage, and since then form what I have seen and how Trump has been attacked and blamed by Kasich and cruz for the thugs at the rallies done by BLM , then I knew I have made the right decision to switch.

This Thread has a bug, unless my browser is going whack (doubtful as I see all other threads fine). There is no post 1 and the preview displayed from the main page does not match anything when opening the thread.

I have been a “Cruz or Trump” guy all along. I voted for Cruz here in Texas. However, I am becoming a Trump supporter more each day. For one thing, there’s no way Cruz gets the nomination unless he pulls some BS at the convention. And I am with you on this trumped up charge (no pun intended) against Lewandowski, and by extension, Trump. This is right out of the rat playbook.

Wow! That might be the shallowest reason I’ve ever heard for backing a candidate for President. Are you sure the color of Kasich’s tie couldn’t persuade you to change your mind?

Welcome. We’ll have your back. Once you recognize the outrageous attempts to stop Trump’s campaign, the feeling or disgust never goes away.

I’m sure there is more to the actual vanity. The preview from the main forum pages shows text that isn’t being displayed. See post #5.

Seriously? That’s the political stance that put you into Trump’s camp?

Good for you. Sadly, I have reached the conclusion that there is no one running in either of the two main political parties that I can in good conscience pull the lever for. So I will either be voting third party or just skipping that line on the ballot.

That’s funny because on 1/27/16, two months ago, you posted this “my friends will tell you I’ve been saying Trump is the guy I would vote for”.

So which is it.

Well-played. I look forward to the response (which will never come).

“Why I am now a Trump Supporter”

Did you bang your head on something recently?

If Trump were as disgusting as Cruz, he’d be out every day talking about Heidi’s breakdown or Cruz’s affairs - but he is not that kind of man. Cruz turns every issue into a political soundbite and Kasich turns every issue into a therapy session.

Trump is the only real man in the race. ( Sorry Bernie!)

I agree that a response will never come or it’ll be a typical tRump supporter response like: I said my friends said the Donald is the guy I would vote for, I didn’t say I would.:)

I have been a “Cruz or Trump” guy all along.

Same here. I leaned heavy for Cruz, but had no problem with Trump...

Until Chicago...

When Cruz blamed the Chicago rally incidents to Trump AND NOT the protesters, I instantly lost respect for Cruz.

Days later I voted...and it wasn't for Cruz.

Since then, I have lost even more respect for him.

I think I'm at the point, that if anybody but Trump gets the nom, I'll stay home.

36 years of voting. All of them proud of my right and responsibility to vote. But I'm not going to waste my vote on backroom shenanigans. Don't insult me and tell me my vote matters.
