I've seen this interesting thread and I decided to post my opinion. I OWN a natural gas car, I bought it 18 months ago and I did with it over 60,000 miles. It's a factory built Opel with special engine (not transformed fron a generic gasoline engine) but works fine with gasoline too. It can use with no problems gasoline or natural gas (two tanks obviously) and switchs automatically from natural gas to gasoline when you run out of gas and back when you fill again the tank.
