A casual date night for Britney Spears and husband Sam Asghari at a JOEY restaurant Friday in Los Angeles ended in a bizarre Britney “meltdown,” according to TMZ. SNIP According to witnesses, the seemingly “manic” 41-year-old “Piece of Me” singer began yelling and “talking gibberish,” prompting Asghari to storm out of the Woodland Hills restaurant, TMZ reported. SNIP In the diner footage, Spears can be seen sitting alone, muttering to herself, before leaving the restaurant with her bodyguard.

Swissvale police are increasing patrols near a school bus stop where two major brawls happened the past few days. Cell phone videos captured by students show a crowd of as many as 60 students and parents fighting in the streets of Swissvale, on both Monday and Tuesday. “They were riots”, says Swissvale Police Chief Greg Geppert. A sketch of the suspect who shot LAUSD police officer Jeff Stenroos near El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills is expected to be released sometime Thursday. Police were responding to a report that a Los Angeles Unified School District police officer was wounded at a shooting near El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills. The shooting occurred around 11:45 a.m. on the campus at Valley Circle and Burbank boulevards. Live video footage from KTLA News showed dozens of police officers searching the area around the school and an ambulance apparently carrying the officer leaving the scene.

The union representing a Woodland Hills fourth-grade teacher, who was cited last week for allegedly shaking and threatening a student, said it had a very different account from the instructor and believed that the woman should remain a teacher.
