  • Bill Clinton: 'Bout Time Dems Tell the Truth about BLM

    American Thinker ^ | April 10, 2016 | Lloyd Marcus
Well whoop-dee-doo: a Democrat, Bill Clinton, finally told the truth about Black Lives Matter. Heckled by BLM protesters, Clinton yelled, "You are defending the people who killed the lives you say matter." Amen, Bill. Stats confirm that the real threat to young blacks is other young blacks, murdering each other in epidemic record-breaking numbers in major cities (controlled by Democrats with strict gun laws) across America. And yet BLM and other so-called civil rights advocacy groups ignore black-on-black violence. Make no mistake about it: Clinton slapping BLM with the truth has nothing to do with him giving a rat's derrière...

“The small drug users who were diseased and locked away deserve it? Bill Clinton u owe the black community and black lives matter an apology,” Def Jam Recordings co-founder says Russell Simmons was not impressed with Bill Clinton’s comments about the Black Lives Matter movement — and let the former president know it. “The small drug users who were diseased and locked away deserve it? Bill Clinton u owe the black community and black lives matter an apology,” the Def Jam Recordings co-founder and Phat Farm founder tweeted Thursday night. Simmons also linked out to a report on NPR detailing...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: On the Democrat side. I thought it was only the Trump rallies that had protesters, but it turns out Bill Clinton is drawing protesters. He's out there stumping for Hillary. You know people are starting to ask, with some of the stuff Clinton is saying. They really are. I mean, Salon.com is demanding that Hillary fire him. They say, "We know that she can't divorce him, but she should fire him." Why can't she divorce him? Why can't she? I ask it rhetorically. She's stuck with the guy, and the things he's doing are making people think...
  • Everything Is About Race

“Don’t make this about race.” I’ve heard this sentence a lot recently, read it a lot online. Saw its use launch a Facebook flame war while I waited for my plane to board at the end of spring break. It’s the easiest way for white people to invalidate experiences of oppression and avoid fraught debates about justice in America. But of course it’s about race—everything is. Our country was built on oppression, and race is everywhere, at every moment on my standard trip back to Harvard. The view from my airplane window is about race. Colonizers killed Indigenous people for...
  • Bill Clinton and Black Lives Matter Protesters Repeatedly Clash in Philadelphia

    Free Beacon ^ | 04/07/2016 | Jack Heretik
Bill Clinton repeatedly clashed with protesters from Black Lives Matter on Thursday during his speech in Philadelphia. With a relatively small crowd in attendance, the protesters began holding up handmade signs and were shouting while the former president and husband of the Democratic primary front-runner, Hillary Clinton, was trying to speak. Their complaints appeared to be centered around the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act, which is sometimes referred to as the Clinton Crime Bill since President Clinton signed it into law in 1994. While the protesters yelled at Clinton, Clinton supporters help up their signs in an attempt...

Bernie Sanders committed tonight to formally apologizing for slavery on behalf of the United States if he becomes president. Sanders told heavily black audience that Tindley Temple United Methodist Church, 'There's nothing that anybody can do to undo the deaths and misery, how many people we don't even know who died on the way over here in the ships.' But the United States has to make an attempt to 'wipe the slate clean' by acknowledging the truth, he said after an audience member asked him point blank if he'd offer a presidential-level apology and he said, 'Yes.' And while the...

A speaker at an evangelical Christian college urged students to accept the views of Black Lives Matter and consider themselves as having benefited from white privilege while looking to the Palestinians for inspiration in how to get along with one’s adversaries. The Rev. Christena Cleveland, a social psychologist who teaches at Duke University School of Divinity and authored the book "Disunity in Christ," brought a message of reconciliation and "love without exception" to Biola University in Los Angeles last week. At a conference titled "Love No Matter What: Politics, Sex, Race and the Way of the Cross," Cleveland touted the...

We are about to embark on a virtual tour on which you will join me in a Los Angeles Police Department patrol car cruising some of the city’s most crime-ridden neighborhoods. We will be patrolling the LAPD’s 77th Street Division, which year after year ranks at or near the top in violent crime among the city’s 21 patrol divisions. A “cultural competency workshop” at the taxpayer-funded University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is assigning scores to students based on how much “white privilege” they allegedly have. The “cultural competency” workshop, which appears to be mandatory for certain students, requires participants to “examine white privilege and how it is more powerful than other types of benefits afforded by society” by completing surveys, reports Campus Reform. “I can choose blemish cover or bandages in ‘flesh’ color and have them more or less match the color of my skin,” one statement on the surveys says. • The political sphere’s agenda should be ‘all lives better’ . . . but we all know it’s not

Time for something different. “All lives better” should be the ultimate goal in the political sphere, but it’s not. That goal is drowned out by political agendas, political noise, political deception and all things political! We the people have been forgotten, and are considered only a means to an end, which is political power! The political class is after nothing but the power to influence, manipulate and dictate the lives of its subjects, the people. The political system and its accompanying infrastructure no longer work for us. Indeed, we work for them. We work to pay the taxes that fund...

Sometimes I feel badly for Ben Carson. He worked hard in his run for president – and you know I can relate – and when his campaign ended unsuccessfully he decided to endorse Donald Trump. Now sure, when you endorse someone, it’s fair that people ask you to defend that person’s positions, records, public statements, etc. And Donald Trump provides plenty of material for people to ask about. But when Dr. Carson went on The View last week, he didn’t get asked about anything Trump has actually done or said. Instead, Whoopi Goldberg put him on the spot by trying...

Recently, when disrupters showed up at a Trump rally in Chicago, the first thing that came to mind was that America’s most notorious community organizer could be the wizard behind the curtain orchestrating what was being sold as an organic occurrence. In Saul Alinsky’s 1971 book Rules for Radicals, the late author could have been describing Obama’s last seven years in office when he wrote that an efficacious organizer should be “an abrasive agent to rub raw the resentments of the people of the community; to fan latent hostilities of many of the people to the point of overt expressions.”...

An anti-Donald Trump rally in New York City was infiltrated by brave Trump supporters. While thousands of protesters marched from Columbus Circle to Trump Tower and got into clashes with police, his supporters stuck out like a sore thumb. Among them a black man shouting, "Black people ain't got nothing against Trump. Al Sharpton don't speak for all of us."

Let’s say computers come for most of our jobs. This may not seem likely at the moment; computer scientists and economists offer wildly varying ideas for how deeply automation will affect future employment. But for the sake of argument, imagine that within two or three decades we’ll have morphed into the Robotic States of America.

The University of Missouri's Board of Curators has rejected an appeal filed by Melissa Click, the former assistant professor fired last month after she'd gained notoriety last fall for her role in protests on Mizzou's campus. The board's unanimous decision to reject Click's appeal means her termination has been upheld and she has no further recourse through the university to get her job back. Click had been on paid suspension pending her appeal since the board fired her in February. In announcing the board's action Tuesday morning, board chairwoman Pamela Henrickson said Click has been treated fairly throughout the process.
