Election '08: Muslim activists are in a full-court press to influence the presidential debates — and war policy. No matter what they say, they don't represent ordinary Muslim citizens. What they really represent are the interests of the radical Muslim Brotherhood, which are decidedly anti-American. Groups tied to the Brotherhood are planting questioners at the debates, and CNN and other hosts aren't the wiser. In the past three presidential debates, Muslims were picked to challenge candidates about homeland-security and war policy as it relates to Muslims. Despite prescreening, the questioners were presented to the public as moderate Muslims concerned about alleged...

SAN FRANCISCO - Conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage sued an Islamic rights group today for rebroadcasting on its Web site several excerpts from his show in which he called the Quran a "book of hate" and said Muslims "need deportation." Savage, in a suit filed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, said the Council on American-Islamic Relations had violated copyright law by using the excepts in a campaign to persuade advertisers to stop sponsoring his show. In the excerpts, Savage calls the Quran a "hateful little book," says Muslims "breed bombers" and asserts that the religion of...

Describing the United States as "the last best hope" for carrying on the ideals of western civilization, Republican presidential candidate Tom Tancredo called last night for an end to the nation's "bilingualization" and "Balkanization."... Tancredo's comments didn't go unchallenged...."I speak the same language as the people that flew into the towers; I speak the same language as all the Iraqis we are killing; I speak many languages, and I'm proud of it," said Siham Elhamoumi, 22, who recently graduated from St. Michael's College in Vermont..."Am I the enemy?" Elhamoumi then pulled her shawl over her head, so it covered her...

In a move subject to no publicity whatsoever, and so far not reported by the press, the UN Security Council today without explanation removed Ahmed Idris Nasreddin and 12 of his companies from the terrorist sanctions list, freeing them from sanctions on a global basis. The UN action followed a similar action by the United States dated yesterday. The move reflects a 180 degree change from previous assessments of Nasreddin, as articulated by the U.S. Treasury when he and his companies were designated as terrorist financiers by the G-7 on April 19, 2002 and by the UN a week later....

DUBAI (Alarabiya.net) American syllabus checkers will revise textbooks from the Islamic Saudi Academy in Washington after a federal human rights panel charged that the books incited violence and hatred, according to America in Arabic news agency. In its report, the committee recommended closing down the school until the syllabus was revised and discriminatory insinuations eliminated. "The texts imply that protecting Islam necessitates the suppression of 'the other,' its findings read." The committee said it sent a delegation to Saudi Arabia to follow up on the kingdom's promises to promote religious freedom and human rights, which included revising its textbooks. The...

Strong opposition to the use of the Muslim veil in schools and face covering in public is revealed today in a new opinion poll for the Evening Standard. Nearly 90 per cent of respondents say that Muslim teachers should not be allowed to wear a veil when teaching. And 84 per cent say that Muslim pupils should not be allowed to wear a veil at school. The survey shows the sharply divided views of Britons on Islam and the contribution of Muslims to life in the capital. Among the most striking findings are that half believe that Islam is a...

If one were to judge the Muslim Student Union (MSU) of the University of California at Irvine (UCI) solely on the basis of its self-description and its stated mission, one would have no inkling of the volcano of Jew-hatred that animates this organization. Founded in 1992 by a small group of Muslim students who “desired to establish an Islamic presence on campus,” MSU says it aims to provide a “community” or “family” atmosphere for Muslims enrolled at UCI, and to build “an environment that enhances good, discourages bad, and provides networks of resources, knowledge, people, and companionship to its members.”...

LOS ANGELES - Civil rights advocates criticized plans by the Los Angeles Police Department to map the city's Muslim communities, calling it racial profiling. ADVERTISEMENT The LAPD's counterterrorism bureau plans to identify Muslim enclaves in order to determine which might be likely to become isolated and susceptible to "violent, ideologically based extremism," said Deputy Chief Michael P. Downing on Thursday. A group of Iraqi Pentagon contractors is suing American Airlines claiming racial discrimination for delaying its flight, but a police report shows that some of the men might have been intoxicated, behaved in a frightening and belligerent manner and scared one family off the plane. The Iraqi men filed the lawsuit last week in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, where they live... The captain did not alert the passengers...

CAIR Targets Another Conservative Talk Show Host By Susan Jones CNSNews.com Senior Editor November 09, 2007 (CNSNews.com) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is pressing advertisers to withdraw their sponsorship of Michael Savage's nationally syndicated radio program because of Savage's alleged "anti-Muslim bigotry." Savage, on his Web site, is fighting back, urging his listeners to protect freedom of speech: "Email your representative; investigate CAIR for manipulating the U.S. media," his Web site says. On Nov. 1, CAIR urged "radio listeners of all faiths" to contact companies that advertise on "The Savage Nation" to complain about an "anti-Muslim tirade" on...

Fascism has a new face - according to conservative pundits and students across the nation. The week of Oct. 22 to 26 marked the first ever "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week" held at 114 universities in the country. An event with a considerable turnout, also faced intense controversy and backlash of angry sentiment from Muslim Student Associations, including Rutgers-Newark's own MSA. But perhaps the larger issue at hand R-N students and faculty are concerned about is not whether or not the term "Islamo-Fascism" is politically correct, but why more students are not voicing their opinions loud enough to be heard. Islamo-fascism is...

UNITED NATIONS - When the Israeli Air Force destroyed a slew of oil storage tanks and a key power station in Lebanon in July 2006, the environmental damage was described as devastating. And now, more than 15 months later, the United Nations has released a report detailing the extent of the destruction caused by that oil spill to human health, biodiversity, fisheries and tourism. The destruction has had "serious implications" for livelihoods and economy in that continuously trouble-plagued country. The Israeli bombing, which destroyed storage tanks and the El-Jiyeh power plant, triggered the release of about 15,000 tonnes of fuel...

ISRAEL VS GOLIATH ARAB MUSLIMS' FASCIST CAMPAIGN OF GENOCIDE - AS SIMPLE AS THAT 1) Israel is ONLY about survival against the Goliath Arab Muslim that wants to eradicate it. 2) There are two causes of the Arab-Israeli conflict. MSM DoesnÂ’t Care About GoogleÂ’s Pro-Jihadi Censorship By Matthew Vadum | November 6, 2007 - 16:41 ET As Islamic scholar Robert Spencer can tell you, the mainstream media has barely noticed that Google, the Internet search engine giant, is now deciding for its users which ideas are acceptable and which are not. ItÂ’s never been a secret that Google leans left and wonÂ’t tolerate ideas it doesnÂ’t agree with. The company hired global warming profiteer Al Gore as senior advisor and has a history of purging content based on ideology. More evidence of the companyÂ’s thinly-veiled, warm and fuzzy politically...

LONDON — Disputes over mosques have broken out across Europe. Residents from Belgium to France to Germany have expressed unease at minarets competing in the urban landscape with the spires and stones of centuries-old cathedrals. But the fight raging over an abandoned lot in London’s East End is of an altogether grander scale. A large and secretive Islamic sect proposed building what would have been the largest mosque in Europe, smack at the gateway to the 2012 Olympic Games, and within sight of London’s financial district. That plan was sent back to the drawing board to be scaled down, but...

MIAMI - A group of men accused of plotting to destroy Chicago's Sears Tower were in the final stages of forming a homegrown terrorist cell dedicated to waging an Islamic holy war before they were arrested, a prosecution terrorism expert testified Tuesday. Raymond Tanter, a Georgetown University professor and terrorism scholar said suspected ringleader Narseal Batiste and the other six had nearly completed the "radicalization process" and moved toward acts of terrorism before their arrests in June 2006.
