BERKELEY -- Citing the absence of U.S. Marine recruiters at their Shattuck Avenue station this morning, anti-war protesters looking to keep up the momentum of this past week's demonstrations claimed victory. Anti-war groups -- including World Can't Wait, Code Pink, the ANSWER Coalition and Veterans for Peace -- descended upon the station to prevent people from entering.
