DALLAS, TX (WBTV) - Monday afternoon a seven-year-old miracle Lenoir boy had his dream come true. A local non-profit group helped him meet his hero, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Dream On 3, a group that grants sports-related wishes for sick children, worked to coordinate a surprise trip for Timothy Brookshire. Timothy has had complications since birth. He lives with a congenital heart defect, cleft lip and palate, a chromosomal disorder AND a rare form of cancer that involves his autoimmune system. He has had 58 surgeries. Hospice has been involved. Yet, Timothy is proving everyone wrong. WBTV was there...
