Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow are to play husband and wife in a new film about the world's first post-operative transsexual. Kidman will play Einar Wegener, the Danish artist who was born a man and married illustrator Gerda Gottlieb in 1904. Charlize Theron was originally attached to play Gottlieb, but Paltrow has now signed on for the role, according to Variety.
