They stood in the centre of Brussels. Row on row. Hands held high, making hearts to the heavens. Showing the slaughtered they were not forgotten. Reminding themselves they were here with love. Looking to show humanity wins. That love conquers all. They lay in the centre of London, face down where they fell. Stabbed by a knife, rammed with a car, flung, broken, into the Thames, life bleeding out on the curb. And the news came thick and fast.

As a throng of Muslim families crowd around him, Abu Izzadeen speaks in a quiet voice of his plans for the future of Britain. The tall, bearded 36-year-old — who was recently freed from prison after serving a term for funding terrorism — is telling, in chilling detail, how he wants to impose Islam’s strict Sharia law on this country. ...This is all part of Izzadeen’s concerted campaign to defeat ‘Western decadence’ and turn large parts of Britain — where, his supporters say, ‘people live like animals in a jungle’ — into an Islamic Emirate.

As noted by Robert Satloff of The Washington Institute, a 2007 book from the Gallup press, Who Speaks for Islam? What a Billion Muslims Really Think, based on a poll of more than 50,000 Muslims in ten countries, found that 7 percent of Muslims deem the 9/11 attacks "completely justified"; 13.5 percent consider the attacks completely or "largely justified," and 36.6 percent consider the attacks completely, largely, or "somewhat justified."[5]Which of these groups does one define as Islamist and which not? We should remember it because it was one of the first acts of serious domestic terrorism” Long before Osama bin Laden’s lieutenants flew a hijacked commercial airliner into the Pentagon on 9/11, Muslim terrorists carried out an attack in the heart of Washington, D.C. This week in 1977 armed Islamic militants invaded three Washington, D.C. buildings and took almost 150 people hostage, radio station WTOP reminds us. During the three-day siege that took place on March 9, 10, and 11, a few weeks after Jimmy Carter was sworn in as the nation’s new president, Hanafi Muslims killed two men and...
