Conservative advocacy groups Tea Party Patriots Action and FreedomWorks are dispatching their activists in key battleground states to “protect the vote.” Tea Party Patriots Action is marshaling its supporters to rallies in Phoenix, Arizona; Atlanta, Georgia; Detroit, Michigan; and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Tea Party Patriots’ Jenny Beth Martin said her group’s supporters are going to voice support for “transparent and honest ballot counting.” “In order for Americans to trust the election process, we must ensure that there are clearly defined laws surrounding our elections, and that those laws will be faithfully and consistently enforced,” Ms. Martin said in a statement. “We...

MSNBC host Chris Hayes. Is there a more condescending, sniveling little pinhead in all of cable news? In all of television? If there is, I have yet to see him or her. There, now I feel better. Let’s continue. During a condescending diatribe on Friday — Hayes enjoys launching into condescending diatribes, given how much he loves to hear himself talk — he not only defended the mobs surrounding the White House, several of whom screamed obscenities at Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) and other Republicans as they left the final night of the Republican National Convention, he claimed he has also...

Former Congressman Steve Stockman, whom leftwing Salon called a “Tea Party darling,” has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to hear his appeal from a 10-year criminal sentence on multiple counts involving raising money from just two GOP donors. You may have heard the term “criminalization of politics.” Steve Stockman’s 2018 conviction is very literally an example. Stockman’s asking the Supreme Court to overturn that politicized conviction should be watched by conservatives who know that a Biden/Harris administration would be a reboot of the lawless and lawbreaking Obama Deep State, but probably even more vindictive towards conservatives. Representative Steve Stockman 2014...

a US District Court ruled in favor of Americans for Prosperity Foundation’s lawsuit against California Attorney General Kamala Harris, ruling that her demands for the Foundation to hand over its list of members and supporters is unconstitutional.” [AFP] We’ve repeatedly covered Harris’s unprecedented drive to demand disclosure of donor lists by nonprofits that carry on activities in California, a step likely to lead to private and public retaliation against individuals and groups revealed to have donated to unpopular or controversial causes. As the WSJ notes in an editorial, U.S. District Judge Manuel Real “declared her disclosure requirement an unconstitutional burden...

Few subjects more easily betray aggressive media bias than protests. If you're a conservative protester, you're most likely to be ignored. The networks mostly ignored this year's prayerful March for Life in January, even though President Donald Trump came in person, a historic first. ABC anchor David Muir offered 15 seconds, saying: "The president taking the stage at the anti-abortion rights rally. His administration today threatening to withhold federal funds from California for requiring private insurers to cover abortions. California's governor dismissing the threat." If conservative protesters are not ignored, they're most likely to be portrayed as a menace to...

Vice President Joe Biden joined House Democrats in lashing tea party Republicans Monday, accusing them of having “acted like terrorists” in the fight over raising the nation’s debt limit, according to several sources in the room. Biden was agreeing with a line of argument made by Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) at a two-hour, closed-door Democratic Caucus meeting. “We have negotiated with terrorists,” an angry Doyle said, according to sources in the room. “This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.” Biden, driven by his Democratic allies’ misgivings about the debt-limit deal, responded: “They have acted...

AT readers will be shocked to learn of the passing of Lloyd Marcus, Tea Party icon, prolific AT contributor, and conservative activist extraordinaire. Lloyd proudly called himself "the unhyphenated American." Lloyd suffered an apparent heart attack early Friday, dying before medical assistance could arrive. His beloved

A video editor who shaped the buzzy Lincoln Project ads needling President Trump is no longer affiliated with the Republican organization over a series of past tweets in which he used offensive slang for female anatomy to insult political rivals. Ben Howe, who came of age politically making anti-Obama ads during the rise of the tea party, did not publicly tout his work for the super PAC formed by a group of high-level Republican operatives who have broken ranks with the party over Trump’s presidency until a recent interview with Vanity Fair. He was described in the article as “the...

I just wanted to give a reminder of why one of the most powerful things a conservative can do is go out and protest. I mean, it's only listed in the constitution. But who reads that thing, right? If you don't like the fake news media? Best thing you can do is go out and protest. If you don't believe me I can prove it to you. I'll even show you where a journalist has admitted this to be true. Sure, I am going to be at the March for Life next week so I do have a vested interest....

At the end of 2009, the total federal debt was $12.3 trillion—a staggering amount of money. Now, it stands at an astonishing $23.1 trillion. That’s roughly $180,500 of debt for every U.S. household. It is important for Americans to understand how we got here, and what lawmakers can do to bring back fiscal sanity. Poor Handling of the Financial Crisis The federal government entered the 2010s with sky-high annual deficits. This had two primary causes. First, the Great Recession reduced incomes and profits, which meant a sharp decrease in tax revenue. A slow economic recovery kept tax revenue relatively low...

This is a civil war. There aren’t any soldiers marching on Charleston… or Myrtle Beach. Nobody’s getting shot in the streets. Except in Chicago… and Baltimore, Detroit and Washington D.C. But that’s not a civil war. It’s just what happens when Democrats run a city into the ground. And then they dig a hole in the ground so they can bury it even deeper. If you look deep enough into that great big Democrat hole, you might even see where Jimmy Hoffa is buried. But it’s not guns that make a civil war. It’s politics. Guns are how a civil...

Leaked funding documents reveal an effort by George Soros and his foundations to manipulate election laws and process rules ahead of the federal election far more expansively than has been previously reported. The billionaire and convicted felon moved hundreds of millions of dollars into often-secret efforts to change election laws, fuel litigation to attack election integrity measures, push public narratives about voter fraud, and to integrate the political ground game of the left with efforts to scare racial minority groups about voting rights threats. These Soros-funded efforts moved through dozens of 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) charities and involved the active compliance with civil rights groups, government...

Stop Socialism Choose Freedom Rally - 9/19/19 - Washington, DC 782 views•Streamed live 11 hours ago TPPatriots 6.49K subscribers In honor of our 10 years of strength, we are heading back to Washington, DC on September 19, 2019, to send a loud message to Washington and the entire nation that the American people DO NOT want to see America become a socialist country. There is a growing trend towards socialism coming from the radical left-wing in this country and it’s time to stand up against it once and for all. President Trump made the bold declaration in his 2019 State...

"In the late summer of 2009, as the recession-ravaged economy bled half a million jobs a month, the country seemed to lose its mind," The New York Times says, kicking off its 10th anniversary retrospective of the tea party movement. As you can imagine, the rest of the article continues in this vein, portraying conservatives who organized against Obamacare as a bunch of vulgar radicals. Yet even this kind revisionism wasn't enough for most contemporary leftists, who see everything through the prism of race. "A fundamental flaw in this analysis is there is no mention of race and how much...

Now it begins to make sense - deep state “fixer,” Henry John Kerner, the Coverup Expert.....Years of questions about how so many DC scandals never ended up with any accountability are now slowly beginning to make sense.Ed. Note: the continuing evil from the grave of John McCain.....Thanks to the efforts of Judicial Watch, we now (6/23/18) find a name at the very heart of some of the most controversial investigative collapses in modern political history. The same John McCain staffer who told the IRS to weaponize their database to target Tea Party groups, was intimately involved in Fast-and-Furious, Benghazi, IRS and...

For good reason, there has been serious hand-wringing over what to do about the ethical lapses of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The fact that Supreme Court justices are exempt from the code of ethical conduct which applies to the rest of the federal judiciary; the problem of bringing a sitting justice before the Congress to question the conduct of a constitutional co-equal; the reality that justices cannot easily defend themselves against news media charges; the defiant, in-your-face posture of Thomas—the list goes on but it need not. There is clear precedent for how to deal with the justice....

Republican Congressman Justin Amash said President Trump deserves to be impeached. A closer look at the representative’s finances, however, show his motives may be personal. One America’s Joseph Dupnik has more. See video at https://youtu.be/u9gAOOGQqmc From Wikipedia: "Born in Grand Rapids, and raised in Kentwood, Michigan, Amash is the son of a Palestinian Christian father and a Syrian Christian mother.[2]" Amash ran for the Michigan House of Representatives in 2008 in Michigan's 72nd House District. During this time, he donated to the campaigns of Congressman Ron Paul and John McCain.

Republicans are moving fast to squelch Justin Amash's rebellion against Donald Trump before his conclusion that the President "engaged in impeachable conduct" -- the first by a GOP lawmaker -- can gather momentum. But Democrats who want a more hardline strategy against the President are seizing on the Michigan congressman's sudden intervention to pile pressure on their own leaders for tougher action. Amash's act of conscience on Saturday sparked immediate speculation over whether a tiny leak in the Republican dam could grow into a torrent of support running away from the President.

Special Edition04-15-19 ***After Action Report*** I just got back from the demonstration in Fresno, California. It wasn't a Free Republic event, but was sponsored by the local Tea Party and Free Republic was notified at the last minute, so Freeper attendence was small. I counted about 5-6 Freepers. I'd say the total attendance was 50-60 people total, maybe a bit more. There was a Tea Party board member with a sound system and microphone, a guy and his buddy from some web site that I forgot the name of and he was live-streaming the event somewhere on the internet....
