    PORTLAND, Ore — Educators and parents rallied on Saturday against nationwide legislation that would prevent "critical race theory" from being taught in schools. Speakers at the rally at the Friendship Circle in Portland told KATU News that they support critical race theory -- which is a legal term used to describe systemic racism.
