A renowned Democrat strategist is warning Kamala Harris that she risks losing to Donald Trump - unless she tells the far left wing of her party to 'f*** off.' James Carville - who helped Bill Clinton's successful 1992 White House run - had correctly predicted President Biden would drop out of the race, but supported an open 'mini primary' rather than installing Harris. However, now that Carville is supporting the Democrat nominee, he's demanding she not listen to the 'woke' progressive side of the party. 'I wish she'd tell them all to go f*** themselves,' Carville said, adding that the...

BUFFALO, NY: On December 2, 2021, G. Steven Pigeon’s life changed. The Erie County District Attorney charged Pigeon, 61, with rape and sexual assault of a child. The charges stemmed from a single incident that allegedly took place five years earlier. The District Attorney did not disclose the child’s name, age, or gender. However, the charges state the child was under 11 when the alleged incident occurred. The indictment alleges the incident happened between November and December 2016. The local media reported the child is a girl. The prosecution revealed at Pigeon’s bail hearing that she was a family member....

Matthew Dowd, the chief strategist of former President George W. Bush’s 2004 reelection campaign, dropped his bid for Texas lieutenant governor on Tuesday, pointing to an emerging field of diverse candidates vying for the number two position in the Lone Star State. In a statement announcing his decision to end his candidacy, Dowd, who was running as a Democrat, cited an opinion piece he wrote for ABC News in 2018 titled “Us white male Christians need to step back and give others room to lead.” In the article, Dowd called for more diversity in electoral politics, writing “white male Christians...

The chief strategist of the Rhode Island Democratic Party is being slammed for her tasteless tweet about South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who had revealed that he contracted COVID-19 despite being vaccinated. “It’s wrong to hope he dies from Covid right? Asking for a friend. #COVIDISNOTOVER #LINDSEYGRAHAM,” Kate Coyne-McCoy wrote Monday night about the top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee. Matthew Foldi, a reporter for the Free Beacon who posted a screengrab of the since-deleted tweet, wrote in a post that “the de facto executive director of the @RIDemParty apparently wants #SCEN @LindseyGrahamSC to die of coronavirus.” Coyne-McCoy on...

A Republican strategist and former 2016 presidential campaign spokesman for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) laid out three things that the GOP must do to ensure President Donald Trump is reelected next year, including some surprises — such as, he believes California a sign of things to come for the GOP without a plan to address it. In an op-ed for The Hill, Ron Nehring writes that while “California has become a running joke” for his party, it’s really “the canary in the coal mine, not an outlier.” That is, the state is a massive warning sign for the Republican Party....

About 50 miles south and east of Rome, high in the Apennine mountains, lies the Charterhouse of Trisulti whose isolated magnificence prompted the German historian Ferdinand Gregorovius (who stumbled upon it in the 1850’s) to write in his classic work Years of Wandering in Italy, “If a place exists where the human spirit can reach the gravest and highest meditation, this must be it, in one of the most sublime states of solitude I have ever seen.” Here, in this huge deserted monastery founded in 1204, which has 15,000 square meters of roof, President Donald Trump’s former chief strategist and...

A Republican strategist on Sunday warned President Trump to build up his dwindling legal team because a “storm is coming” in the form of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation. Alex Castellanos, who has worked on campaigns for Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney, told ABC’s “This Week” it’s hard to believe that “Robert Mueller is not going to dig up something in Trump’s complicated financial history to say, ‘Look, the president of the United States did this and it was wrong.'” He went on to say a switch in Republicans’ fortune in Congress after November’s mid-term elections could bring dire...

Alex Castellanos, Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney's campaign strategist, told ABC’s “This Week” it’s hard to believe that “Robert Mueller is not going to dig up something in Trump’s complicated financial history......”......a switch in Republicans’ fortune in Congress after November’s mid-term elections could bring dire consequences for the Trump presidency. “It’s hard to believe then that when Republicans lose the House in 2018, maybe by 40 or 50 seats, that the House is not going to impeach him,” Castellanos said. “And that a Senate that’s scared to death, but still be in Republican hands, is not going to take a...

No matter how much you dislike Donald Trump and his effect on the Republican presidential primary race, and there are many, many good reasons to do so, you have to spare a little grudging admiration for the sheer madcap genius of Trumps ability to disrupt, unsettle, and exploit the primary system. We can better understand what Trump has done successfully, as well as his ultimate limitations as a candidate and why he would be such a terrible president, using the ideas of military strategic theorist John Boyd. Trump has been, thus far, the true Boyd candidate in this race, yet...

Caution: Strong language ahead as the Democrat Party reviews their shaky footing as one scandal and embarrassment cascades onto another. On Monday, a reporter for the often-liberal National Journal reported that a top Democratic strategist with ties to the White House and Capitol Hill wrote an email with a subject line “Dem Party is F****d.” Ron Fournier, the National Journal reporter, noted that the email linked to an article in the Los Angeles Times that has joined the rest of the usually-lefty publications who have grown tired of defending he indefensible Obamacare healthcare overhaul.

"If I have the choice between extending the tax cut for a year and energizing our economy and having an issue to run on, I'd rather energize the economy," Axelrod said in an exclusive interview with Fox News. "I think that it's better for the country, it's better for the president. Frankly it's better for the Congress even if they don't see it." In the next breath, however, Axelrod flatly charged the latest move by House Republicans to block a Senate compromise extending the tax cut for two months is an effort by the GOP to choke off any economic...

Longtime Democratic strategist Kam Kuwata, a mainstay of the California political scene for decades, was found dead today in his Venice condominium. He was 57. “I am greatly saddened by the passing of Kam Kuwata,” said Eric Bauman, Los Angeles County Democratic Party chairman. “Today, we lost a dear friend and a top Democratic political mind whose influential behind-the-scenes work had touched California and American politics alike. Kuwata’s work extends nearly 30 years in campaign strategic planning, communications and messaging. He served in many key roles for major and local Democratic campaigns including: U.S. Senators Dianne Feinstein, Daniel Akaka and...

When signs of a severe economic downfall emerged more than two years ago, then-candidate Barack Obama was quick to point a finger at the man he hoped to replace. Seventeen months into his administration, the message is often the same, and Republicans say it's time for him to drop the Bush bashing and take ownership of the problem. "Nothing makes a president look weaker than pointing the finger at past administrations," said Republican strategist Ron Bonjean. "By blaming somebody, it looks like you are playing politics and people just want jobs. They don't care about whose fault it is. Playing...

Reporting from Washington - At least one Democratic political strategist has gotten a blunt warning from the White House to never appear on Fox News Channel, an outlet that presidential aides have depicted as not so much a news-gathering operation as a political opponent bent on damaging the Obama administration. Political consultants are a staple of cable television talk shows, analyzing current events based on their own experiences working on campaigns or in government. One Democratic strategist said that shortly after an appearance on Fox, he got a phone call from a White House official telling him not to be...

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A top adviser from John McCain's presidential campaign who has criticized Sarah Palin's odds as a 2012 presidential candidate defended Wednesday the decision to pick her as McCain's 2008 running mate. Steve Schmidt, who was chief strategist for the Republican's campaign during the 2008 election, said choosing Palin — then a little-known Alaska governor — helped the GOP gain ground against the Democrats and Barack Obama. "I believe to this day that had she not been picked as a vice presidential candidate, we would have never been ahead, not for one second, not for one minute,...

Looks like there’s at least one high-profile Republican who won’t be voting for Sarah Palin should she run in 2012. Steve Schmidt, John McCain’s top political strategist in 2008, told a forum in Washington today that nominating Palin as the party’s next presidential nominee would be “catastrophic” for Republicans. “I think that she has talents, but my honest view is that she would not be a winning candidate,” Schmidt said. “In fact, were she to be the nominee, we would have a catastrophic election result.”

WASHINGTON - Democratic Sen. Tim Johnson of South Dakota is still recovering from a December brain hemorrhage, but his office appears to be beefing up his staff for a 2008 re-election campaign. Drey Samuelson, Johnson's chief of staff, said Wednesday that the office has hired Steve Jarding as deputy chief of staff. Jarding, who will work for the senator's congressional office in Rapid City, S.D., is a veteran political consultant who served as a top strategist for James Webb, the Virginia Democrat who upset Republican Sen. George Allen last November. Jarding is a native of South Dakota and worked for...

As a matter of efficiency, it’s not odd for a national political operation to digest whole campaign structures at the statewide level. Fred Thompson seems to be doing this in Georgia. We’ve gotten word that Joel McElhannon, the Republican political consultant who helped put Casey Cagle in the lieutenant governor’s office and Jim Whitehead into a run-off for the 10th District congressional race, is being gobbled up by the Thompson campaign as some sort of Southern coordinator. McElhannon confirmed the move, but referred all other questions to the campaign. Thompson has a fund-raiser here on Friday, one of his first...

Rafael Gonzales, a well known Republican strategist in the Central Florida area, was one of 3 men found dead in his home today. Police suspect murder-suicide or foul play in the deaths. Bodies were discovered after a North Carolina woman called police to check on an occupant at that address, after being unable to contact the person. Police believe that there is evidence of a fight or struggle inside the home and that the deaths occured several days ago. No other info at this time.

IMHO, Newt Gingrich won't be elected President, but he is far and away the best choice for the post of top Republican strategist. Whether this is in the RNC or somewhere else, I don't know. He needs to call the shots in 2008 while maintaining a low public profile. He can be the true "architect" of conservative victory once more. He led us to victory in 1994. He can do so again in 2008. Gingrich should be to Romney what Rove is to Bush.
