Two of the most powerful members of Congress, Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., both longtime Clinton supporters, were among a five-member group who sent a letter accusing the investigation into Mrs. Clinton by the Obama-appointed Inspectors General of being tainted by partisan politics. The letter was particularly strong in condemning State Department inspector general Steve A.
