Two years ago James Madison University (Virginia) pioneered the Nap Nook: JMU has created the first ever “designated student napping center in a university setting.” Perhaps this is a backlash against the move 15 years ago to eliminate their nap time in kindergarten. You know: like daylight savings time - cut the blanket off on one end and sew it on the other. And now I see that Southern Illinois University is hosting “nap-ins” to “help students dream of diversity.” Didn’t we already do that? And aren’t we diverse enough yet?Anyway, I’m beginning to suspect that college stew-dents are napping when...

As Washington D.C. liberals continue their fight for 'free' college education for all (which, of course, is just a nicer way of saying largely useless community college education crammed down the throats of taxpayers) and student loan forgiveness programs, a new study from LendEDU reveals some of the shocking realities behind where college students are really spending their $1.3 trillion worth of student debt. Per a survey of 500 college co-eds, LendEDU found that 31% of students, or roughly 2.4 million kids, admitted to using student loan money to fund their binge drinking trips to Cancun and Daytona Beach for...

The word whispered across South Beach Friday night was “chaos” after the spring break crowds got out of control, forcing Miami Beach police to call for back up units. Miami Beach police told CBS4 that spring break crowds flowed off the beach and onto Lummus Park between 7th and 9th streets before spilling onto ocean drive. As police tried to control the crowds – getting them off the street and onto the sidewalk – people pushed, brawls broke out and objects were thrown. The crowd became so big and out of control so quickly that Miami Beach police had to...

BAY COUNTY, Fla. – Two college students are under arrest after police found cell phone video allegedly showing the gang rape of an intoxicated teen outside a popular Panama City Beach bar during spring break. Hundreds stood by in “broad, open daylight” as the 19-year-old woman, who appeared to be passed out on a chair behind the Spinnaker Beach Club, was sexually assaulted by one man after another, Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen told AL.com. Many watched, some recording with their phones — but no one tried to intervene, officials said.

Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri is defending the actions of one of his deputies seen on a video breaking up a fight on St. Pete Beach. You'll have to read the Snopes articles, but an email I got said that Obama's 13 year old daughter took 12 of her friends (and 25 Secret Service agents) to Mexico for Spring Break on your tax dollars. The article also points out that Obama instructed the SS to close down any web sites that talked about it. I wonder if that's why I couldn't get on FR for most of yesterday?

Obama as he makes decisions," an indigenous shaman named "Tata" Neto said. Five Maya priests, including Neto - also known as...

Reporting from San Salvador and Washington— President Obama may hasten his return to Washington as the U.S.-led military strike against Libya increasingly distracts from his Latin America trip. As Air Force One touched down in El Salvador on Tuesday afternoon, the White House announced changes to the president's itinerary. A visit planned for Wednesday to the Metropolitan Cathedral in San Salvador, where slain Archbishop Oscar Romero is buried, was shifted to Tuesday. Obama was also scheduled Wednesday to tour Mayan ruins one hour outside the capital city, but it is now unclear whether he would do so. Obama is set...
