SIERRA VISTA — There are two things Republican U.S. Rep. Martha McSally dislikes about Memorial Day. One is people who wish others a “Happy Memorial Day,” which means they have no idea of the significance of the day. Memorial Day is a time to reflect on the sacrifice those who served in the nation’s armed forces and gave their lives and there is nothing joyful about that, she told more than 400 people who attended the late Monday afternoon ceremony at the state-operated Southern Arizona Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.
