This past Veterans Day, at a local event honoring America’s brave fighting men and women of the Armed Forces, I was also privileged to join about 300 of my “closest friends” of the High Desert Republican Party, as we together witnessed firsthand the preliminary candidacy of, quite possibly, the GOP’s best shot at beating U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer in November of next year. Getting in the Ring With Boxer? Political insiders have been speculating for weeks that U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marin might challenge Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) in next year's election. Marin has yet to confirm or deny such talk, but she also doesn't seem to mind it.
