A “#WeAreBaltimore” hashtag surged to the top of Twitter’s trending items of Saturday in response to President Trump's comments attacking Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) as a “brutal bully” and his majority-black Baltimore district as a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.” As of Saturday night, the hashtag was used over 17,700 times.
