STAMFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) – The sound of gunfire and someone shouting “Everybody down, everybody” shocked moviegoers sitting in the lobby of the Bow Tie Majestic 6 movie theaters Sunday night, but the incident appears to have been a juvenile prank. Police say three members of the group had noisy toy guns and fired them in the theater while shouting “everyone...

It’s getting to be that time of year again: when jack-o’-lanterns glow and mummies and witches roam the streets. But there is one Halloween tradition that really gives me the chills: Jimmy Kimmel’s annual candy prank. Every Halloween for the past six years, ABC’s late-night talk show host has encouraged viewers to tell their children, on the morning after the holiday, that they have eaten the kids’ entire candy stash. Parents record their children’s reactions and send the videos to Kimmel, who broadcasts some of the clips on his show.

Is a "noodle mass" a legitimate form of religious service? This has been the source of heated debate for years in the northeastern German town of Templin. Now, a court has issued a ruling on the matter. The controversy centers on four signs in the small German town of Templin, in the northeastern state of Brandenburg. At each of the four main entrances to the town, a sign erected by the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster informs locals of the date and time of their weekly "noodle mass," exactly like how the Catholic, Evangelical and Protestant denominations advertise their...

So this happened. I have a hypothesis. Gay people often get away with murder. Certainly behavior that straight men could never get away with. So my producer and I put that to the test. Behaving the exact same way and even repeating the exact same phrases to women at the mall. The only difference? One of us is gay. One straight. The reactions are, well... entirely expected. You're welcome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngATnQFL-FQ

The tale of a notorious YouTube hoaxster who claimed to be kicked off a Delta flight for speaking Arabic turned out to be the latest in a growing series of false accusations of bias made in the wake of Donald Trump’s election victory.
