President Trump repeatedly points out that black unemployment is at its lowest point ever. His premise is that more black persons with jobs is a good thing. If you’re rational, you’ll agree. But if you’re a Democratic politician, your job — and sense of moral superiority — depends on blacks remaining unemployed. Because if they’re unemployed, it means they’re more dependent on government health care, government welfare, food stamps, and all the rest. Ditto for other minorities. Democratic leftist politicians want black people on the plantation. Not literally, because there are no plantations. The modern plantation is the government dependence...

Conservative political commentator Candace Owens applauded the unfolding “Black Revolution” she witnessed as she attended an event at Stanford University. The Turning Point USA Communications director admitted she was almost brought to tears after watching a black student wake up to the lies of Democrats. Candace Owens ✔ @RealCandaceO The world is changing before our eyes. Tonight at Stanford, a black student stepped to the mic. He said he used to support Black Lives Matter until he researched their lies. He shouted to a packed room “BUT NOW I’M FREE”. The Black Revolution is unfolding and it’s beautiful. Owens tweeted...

Roughly 60 years after the abolition of slavery, anthropologist Zora Neale Hurston made an incredible connection: She located the last surviving captive of the last slave ship to bring Africans to the United States. ... In fact, they are only now being released to the public in a book called Barracoon: The Story of the Last “Black Cargo” that comes out on May 8, 2018... he was only 19 years old when members of the neighboring Dahomian tribe captured him and took him to the coast. There, he and about 120 others were sold into slavery and crammed onto the...

A debate over whether Washington, D.C., restaurant workers should trade their tips for $15 an hour went off the rails after a labor activist race baited a black bartender who opposed the minimum wage hike. Jessica Martin, a D.C. activist who serves on the board of directors of the Restaurant Opportunities Center (ROC), alluded to Frank Mills as an "Uncle Tom" because of his opposition to Ballot Initiative 77. Mills, a bartender at Jack Rose in the city's Adams Morgan neighborhood, defended the tipped wage, disputing ROC arguments that tips directly lead to sexual harassment in the industry. Mills said...

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) reportedly blasted musician Kanye West on Monday evening for talking “out of turn” when asked about West’s recent praise for President Donald Trump. “Kanye West is a very creative young man who has presented some of the most revolutionary material in the African-American community. … But we also think that sometimes Kanye West talks out of turn and perhaps sometimes he needs some assistance in helping him to formulate some of his thoughts,” Waters at an Oakland event with members of the Congressional Black Caucus that pushed for more diversity in Silicon Valley. “We don’t think...

Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D., N.Y.) spoke Thursday at Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, where he told the students that the Trump administration was trying to damage the African-American community. "Jim Crow might be dead," Jeffries said at the beginning of his speech. "He's got some nieces and nephews that are alive and well, and a few of them are running around 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue." The audience laughed and cheered in agreement with Jeffries' claim.

IOWA CITY — Her lip quivering, Patrisse Cullors’ heart sank. It was 2013, and she was in a motel room on a website, waiting for the news of George Zimmerman’s verdict. Guilty, or not guilty, in the killing of Trayvon Martin — a black 17-year-old who was fatally shot by a neighborhood watch volunteer while on his way home from buying candy at a convenience store. “Not guilty, and they say not guilty, and they continue to say not guilty until they say, ‘not guilty of all charges,’” Cullors, 32, of Los Angeles, recalled for a packed audience of hundreds...

Haitians hate Clintons. And with good reason. The Clintons have run Haiti like their own private plantation, as the Haitian man in this video suggests. After hearing him, one can easily understand why Haitians hate Clintons. We all know the Clintons suck here in America, and Syria, and Lebanon… but there’s a new place where they suck! Haiti is pretty bad right now due to them. Apparently Haiti has a substantial gold mine. Here’s the rub. The Gold mine is run by Hillary’s Brother. Haiti also used to be pretty self serving. They grew their own rice, but no more!...

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released 128 pages of documents it obtained from the mayor of Rutland, Vermont, showing a concerted effort by the mayor and a number of private organizations to conceal from the public their plans to resettle 100 Syrian refugees into the small southern Vermont town. The documents include an April 14, 2016, email from Amila Merdzanovic, executive director of the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program, to Mayor Christopher Louras, in which she wrote: I want to share with you the concern my HQ has about holding a public forum. If we open it up to anybody...

ITHACA, NY - When Christopher Dunn joined Cornell Plantations as its new director in April 2014, his freshly printed business cards suggested to him the organization he was set to lead had an identity problem. Even within the Cornell community, Dunn discovered the name left many perplexed. While other places on campus have easily identifiable descriptors – a library and museum have definite, universal connotations – Plantations had no such grounding for potential visitors. And for many others, there was an emotional response: Plantations conjured negative associations with America’s history of slavery and racial oppression. Dunn also communicated with Black...

Republican Louisiana state Sen. Elbert Guillory was on “The Kelly File” tonight to discuss his controversial new ad, in which he calls on black voters to “send Kay Hagan home.” In the ad, he says, "You see, black people are just being used by limousine liberals who have become our new overseers. We've only traded one plantation for another. You are not Kay Hagan's cause and you're certainly not her charity. You are just a vote. She has stepped off your backs to fame and fortune and left you behind on food stamps, deprived of the American dream." Tonight, he...

You cannot make this stuff up! Democratic Rep. Marcia Fudge (Ohio), at a town meeting hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus, lectured the black audience for what she called complaining. She spoke in a “you should be ashamed of yourself” tone that would make one feel guilty for complaining. How can they be so ungrateful for all the good things that the Democrats are doing for the black community? I hope you will spend this much time with your local elected officials. I guarantee you most people in this room have not done that. With your school board, with your...

A police officer lost his take-home car for 10 days after not activating equipment that would have showed whether he was speeding, according to newly released Internal Affairs records. A Coral Springs resident filed a complaint saying he saw Officer Justin Miller, 38, speeding in his Plantation police cruiser east on the Sawgrass Expressway between Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs and a Florida's Turnpike toll on Nov. 12. The resident said he followed the police car and caught Miller going 85 mph and 65 mph through the toll plaza. The speed limits are 65 mph and 25 mph, respectively....

REDMOND , Wash. A mother in Washington is upset after a teacher at her daughter’s middle school allegedly gave students an assignment that required them to pick cotton so that they could "see what it was like to be a slave." Carolyn Walker called Redmond Middle School to inform them that her daughter would not be doing the assignment and later found out the teacher gave her daughter an F. "My daughter is African American and for her to pick cotton when her grandparents were raised on a plantation to pick cotton, is not OK, it's not OK at all,"...

Democrats plan to turn out thousands of African-American voters this fall, in an effort to hold the Senate majority. The challenge is that some of them aren’t yet registered to vote. Which begs the question, after opportunities to elect and re-elect the first black president, why would an African-American choose this year’s midterm elections to finally jump from the sidelines and into the game?
