An Oregon man is making a patriotic journey, carrying the U.S. flag across the country on horseback. Samuel Hopkins-Hubbard—or as he prefers, simply Sam Hubbard—of Milton-Freewater, Ore., stopped through Chadron Wednesday and departed for Hay Springs late Thursday morning.
