  • Shows like "24" to be trusted?

    11/07/2008 4:30:32 AM PST · by freedom44forever · 28 replies · 1,217+ views
In our house we've always loved action shows like "24", with all the crap on the box nowadays it's good to see people standing up against our enemies and placing positive military icons in the mainstream. But my sister commented last night about how they love to include little things in their alternate timeline, such as the black President. Makes you wonder if the Media doesn't design these shows to appeal to the common man while implanting "acceptable" images in his mind....

Warned you : "To BEE, or to BAM ? That's the only question !" And Now ? We had warned, since March : On USA Nov. 2008 election : "To BEE, or to BAM ? That's the only question ! It's was, obviously, between these two Charismatic politicians, Huckabee and Obama, that 2008 Election was going to be played. ( f. ex. : http://www.politicalcrossfire.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=100210 ) With the difference, that Mike Huckabee, after a long and hard electoral struggle, succeeded to be elected GOP's 2nd Candidate for US President, with a vital grassroots Popular enthousiasm, but LESS Money than anyone else.....

Should McCain win the election, his opponent's most radical wing will engage in the following: (1) Mass rioting and looting throughout major urban areas. Detroit, Chicago, LA, SF and NY will burn in black flames, a la Mogadishu and Freetown following the rebel takeover. (2) Countless lawsuits to counteract "improper" and "fraudulent" results. The big time trial lawyers will file lawsuits in all 50 states, France, Germany, Iraq, North Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, Venus, Pluto and Jupiter. They contemplate suing the Andromeda Galaxy for voter fraud but ran out of trial lawyers. (3) Tons of bashing by the mainstream media about...

I am a Reagan Conservative. I came of age in my political thought during Reagan’s rise and was inspired by his faith in people and the love of our Country. I think it was Reagan who said, “If people have a choice between a Democrat and a Democrat, they will always choose the Democrat”. What I always took this to mean is People will always chose the candidate who held strong beliefs in core political values over the middle of the road candidate. The choice in this election is between a Democrat and a democrat (little d intentional). It is...

Poll averages have Obama up 4%. THAT'S IT! With an unpopular war, an unpopular president, a terrible economic fallout, and the liberal media glorifying Obama, you would think Obama would be up AT LEAST 10%. But he's not. All this favor for the democrats, and all Obama can manage is 4% over John McCain? Obama is going to lose this election. Handily. And this isn't just some pollyanna post, it's the truth. A bill will get passed, and the roar over the bad economy will fade somewhat. And, in the meantime, McCain will rebound in the polls with the help...
  • Have House Republicans stepped into a Democrat trap?

    09/29/2008 7:39:35 PM PDT · by robert david · 178 replies · 2,350+ views
It is my belief that Republicans in the House have committed a major blunder by voting against today's bailout plan. They have given the Democrats a very large club to batter them with over the next six weeks before the election as the stock market crashes and the economy goes into a tailspin. It is my fear that this will lead to a Democrat landslide in the House and Senate and may even cost John McCain the presidency as Democrats and their big media cohorts blame the Republicans for the crisis. Republican Representatives should have heeded the words of their...

BIG BANG Recreated!!! That's fantastic!!! Someone recreated the big bang, or a model, rather. But hey, ya can't have a recreation without an original creation. Perhaps scientist will realize, if their INTELLIGENCE has brought them to this point of modeling a big bang, then there must exists an INTELLIGENCE, who many years ago gave ignition to the original, and could only endow it with life to boot!

About 20 years ago in the windy city of Casper, Wyoming, I was privileged to serve among a group of 'community organizers.' These men and women served at the local mission, helped in latchkey school programs and we got involved in politics teaching on free enterprise and the constitution, helped register voters, and ran for precinct chairs all for the betterment of our communities. And we did it for free. Our pastors encouraged us to get off our blessed assurances and make a difference in our community. We knew what they preached and it wasn't anti-American nor did they call...

Sarah chose to have a baby, not to not have an abortion. Let's change the debate. Everyone's pro-choice: I either choose to engage in activities that may lead to a pregnancy or I don't. Also, McCain/Palin margin of victory: 6 million votes.

Is there a problem with enjoying modern stylish fashionable furniture as a hobby? I have been advised that talking about cars around the office is far more acceptable and manly than talking about the modern sleek lines of furniture or the leather interior of a car is far tougher than talking about soft Italian leather from a perfectly handcrafted Italian leather Sofa / Masterpiece that sits in my loungeroom for me to admire that I purchased from Home Concepts in Melbourne. I would much prefer to go to a site like www.fivekings.com.au than carsales.com and does this mean I’m a...

Retired General Antonio Taguba, the officer who led the Army's investigation into Abu Ghraib, recently wrote in the preface to the new report, Broken laws, Broken Lives: "There is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes. The only question that remains to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account." Should those who ordered war crimes be held to account? With the conclusion of the Bush regime approaching, many people are dubious, even those horrified by Administration actions. They fear a long, divisive ordeal that...
