A 29-year-old activist who rose to prominence in the protests following the police killing of Michael Brown was found dead in a burning car in a St. Louis suburb, according to police. Upon putting out the fire, police found Seals inside the vehicle. He had suffered a gunshot wound, police said. McGuire declined to release further details, pending an ongoing investigation. Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly passed away at age 92 on Monday. Schlafly was a constitutional lawyer, conservative activist, author, speaker, columnist and founder of the Eagle Forum. Phyllis was active promoting conservative agenda until her passing. She wrote a weekly column for over 50 years.
