Here in the New York City area, Republican Rep. George Santos is in the crosshairs. The new congressman was caught embellishing his resume and life story, and now the drums are pounding, the hounds are baying, protestors are marching, and war cries ring throughout metro-area newscasts. Santos is being targeted just as soundly in Washington, D.C., where the word has gone out that he is persona non grata. One New York news anchor claimed on Monday that Santos’s name and office hours have yet to be installed on his D.C. office door. Plenty of politicians are sanctimoniously calling for Santos...

A man ordered to remove his 'Jesus Saves' T-shirt or leave a shopping mall has said he would rather 'go to jail or die' than take it off. During a lengthy and rambling hour long video posted to YouTube on Monday, Paul Shoro, was still wearing the same fluorescent shirt a security guard at the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota told him to either take off or leave the premises. Shoro, who hails from Ethiopia, defended his actions, explaining his presence in the U.S. as a request from God. He claimed he was at the mall to hand out...

You can do all sorts of things at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. On the mall’s website, there is a myriad of dining, drinking and shopping options, not to mention the Nickelodeon Universe®, an M&M’s® attraction, an aquarium, climbing walls, escape rooms, games, a novelty photography studio, and so much more. You can do just about anything at the Mall of America, as long as you don’t mention Jesus. Well, it is in Minnesota — what did you expect? On January 7, a man wearing a t-shirt that read “Jesus Saves” entered the mall. The back of the...

Cellphone video captured a confrontation involving a Mall of America security guard telling a man wearing a "Jesus Saves" T-shirt that his shirt is "offending" shoppers at the famously large mall in Bloomington, Minnesota — and the guard ordered the man to remove the shirt or leave the mall. What are the details? Alpha News — an independent outfit that covers news across the state that often goes unreported — said the confrontation took place last weekend, citing videos published on social media.

A man inside the Mall of America last week was ordered by security guards to remove his T-shirt that read “Jesus is the only way” in a viral confrontation that has sparked online outrage. The man’s bright yellow shirt read “Jesus saves” on the front and “Jesus is the only way” on the back with the “Coexist” symbol which represents peace among different religions crossed out, the footage shows. Security guards told the man that other shoppers at the Minnesota mall said they were offended by the shirt. “Jesus is associated with religion and it’s offending people,” one of the...

A 24-year-old man arrested Friday morning and accused of randomly throwing or pushing a 5-year-old boy from a third-floor balcony at the Mall of America has had other violent incidents at the Bloomington shopping center, court records show. The man, identified by police as Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda, was accused in July 2015 of throwing things off the upper level of the mall to the lower level. He also refused to give his name to police and resisted arrest.

Hennepin County, Minnesota homeowner Geraldine Tyler in an undated photo. (Courtesy of Pacific Legal Foundation) The Supreme Court decided late on Jan. 13 to hear the appeal of a 94-year-old homeowner who is challenging the constitutionality of laws that allow local governments to take the full value of a home as payment for much smaller property tax debts. The decision came after the Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF), a public interest law firm that is representing the homeowner, released a report last month saying that 12 states and the District of Columbia allow local governments and private investors to seize dramatically...

I grew up in Minnesota when it was a very nice, normal place; a time when the unofficial state motto was “30 Below Keeps The Riff-Raff Out,” and the meanest thing about it was that lady who scowled at Mary Tyler Moore tossing her hat into the air on TV.But in a couple years, Christians will not be allowed to work as public school teachers. Neither will Muslims or Jews. The reason for this religious bigotry is new teacher licensing rules that will require teachers to personally affirm transgender ideology. Biology, genetics, endocrinology, physiology and anatomy have shown that, with...

Minnesota will soon ban faithful Christians, Muslims, and Jews from teaching in public schools by requiring that every state-certified teacher “fosters an environment that ensures student identities such as … gender identity … are … affirmed.” Once the new requirements clear a final procedural hurdle, they will be immediately challenged in state and possibly federal court, a civil liberties lawyer told The Federalist on Tuesday. “We have lots of parents who are upset by this sort of thing in schools already,” said Doug Seaton, president of Minnesota’s Upper Midwest Law Center, in an interview. “They’re going to be even more...

The Minnesota Legislature is on a roll.Of course, most politicians are embarrassing, so I shouldn’t be too shocked at how stupid and morally vacuous they can be. But still, I keep hoping that there are limits, and I keep getting disappointed. As I was perusing my local paper, the Star Tribune, I ran across this Op/Ed arguing that schools should provide menstrual products to students.I don’t have a problem with that. I have never been a teenage girl, but I can imagine the embarrassment of needing menstrual products and not happening to have one. While I usually scoff at the use...

The Minnesota Democrat-Farmer-Labor Party (Democrats to you and me) controls every level of government. The Minnesota House, the Senate, and the governorship. It can basically do what it wants. What it wants is unlimited abortion for anybody, any time, until the moment of birth. The bill is HF 1, which is always the bill that the majority party chooses as its highest priority. They aren’t sneaking this in some larger Health and Human Services Bill or anything like that. They are being loud and proud, shouting their abortions so to speak. Here’s the bill. You don’t get much more extreme than this:A few...

To be state licensed in Minnesota starting in 2025, every teacher must personally advocate critical race theory and transgender ideology.Minnesota’s teaching licensure board will soon require all teachers to be card-carrying Marxists. The card will literally say “licensed teacher,” but recently approved revisions redefine state licensure in expressly Marxist terms: Academic knowledge is out, and power struggle among the classes is in. To be licensed in Minnesota starting in 2025, every teacher must not merely teach about, but personally advocate, the core tenets of critical race theory and transgender ideology. The state’s insistence that every teacher positively affirm homosexual behaviors and...

Staff at the Hennepin County Medical Center delivered the baby later that night, according to police. The baby's condition is currently unknown, and the mother's identity has not yet been released. Donte Rapheal McCray has been identified as being allegedly involved in the incident, Lakeville police say. He's being held at Dakota County Jail on second-degree manslaughter charges. McCray "has employment affiliation with the Amazon facility where the incident occurred," a press release from police reads.

According to Bring Me The News on October 31, video surveillance captured the image of a man dressed like a witch wearing a large black hat and entering the closed Piercing Pagoda Kiosk in the West End of the Mall of America around 9 pm. He was holding an empty duffle bag that was obviously full when he left. Cameras also caught the suspect putting the duffle bag in his car. According to a search warrant affidavit, the theft was not reported until three days later when a new employee saw that the cases were all completely empty. Since they...

President Joe Biden on Tuesday signed legislation protecting same-sex and interracial marriage. Hundreds of people gathered on the White House South Lawn to commemorate the Respect for Marriage Act becoming law. "Today is a good day," Biden said as he took the podium after Vice President Kamala Harris. "A day America takes a vital step toward equality, for liberty and justice, not just for some, but for everyone. Toward creating a nation where decency, dignity and love are recognized, honored and protected." "We're here today to celebrate their courage and everyone who made the day possible," the president continued. "Courage...

WHAT STARTED ON THESE PAGES IN FEBRUARY HAS BECOME A FULL BLOWN HUMILIATION FOR THE BIDEN WHITE HOUSE. Joe Biden’s transgender nuclear energy hire has been fired from his role after being implicated in a series of luggage thefts. Brinton’s role in the Biden government was first revealed here, by The National Pulse, in February. “Sam Brinton is no longer a DOE employee. By law, the Department of Energy cannot comment further on personnel matters,” a spokesperson for the Department of Energy said on Monday. According to the New York Post: The 35-year-old Biden administration deputy assistant secretary for spent...
