Just over 2,000 migrants in New York City have been connected with a job under the Adams administration’s ongoing push — as the city has had trouble progressing on a plan to end the continuing crisis by putting immigrants to work. Only about half of the 9,000 migrants contacted by New York’s much-hyped Workforce1 program since last October even responded to the effort to link them with employers, Small Business Services department official Dynishal Gross told the City Council on Tuesday. And the majority of the roughly 5,500 migrants reached by agents from the department failed to even get a...

The majority of job growth in the United States since 2019 has gone to newly arrived migrants as working-class American men continue to fall out of the labor force, an analysis shows. The analysis, published by Steven Camarota at the Center for Immigration Studies, shows the extent to which President Joe Biden’s agenda to grow the labor market with mass immigration — rather than enticing Americans on the sidelines back into work — has been largely executed.

The Washington Post is celebrating a man from the African country of Mauritania who is helping more poor Muslim migrants crowd into Cincinnati apartments and houses, straining the town’s resources and apparently breaking occupancy laws. Even this man, who is working to facilitate the flood of illegals into the U.S., says that the federal government is just letting too many people come to the U.S. all at once. ABC News’ “This Week” co-anchor Martha Raddatz confronted Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Sunday over the Biden administration’s failure to secure the border. Partial transcript as follows: RADDATZ: But that’s been something you’ve been doing all along. You’ve been trying to do that with people. I want — I want to go back to an interview I did with you in March… MAYORKAS: Yes. RADDATZ: … of 2021, two months into your tenure as DHS secretary. You seemed totally confident then that you had that under control. Let’s listen to what you told me.

ROME — Modern migrants share many similarities with the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land, Pope Francis asserts in his message for the World Day of Migrants and Refugees 2024. The biblical narrative of Exodus, depicting the Israelites on their way to the promised land, “naturally comes to mind” when thinking of immigrants today,” the pontiff states in his message, released by the Vatican Monday. “The images of the biblical exodus and of migrants share several similarities,” the pope continues. “Like the people of Israel in the time of Moses, migrants often flee from oppression, abuse,...

Biden admin offers ‘mass amnesty’ to migrants as it quietly terminates 350,000 asylum cases: sources While the Biden administration is attempting to look like it’s getting tough on the border, behind the scenes it’s operating a program of a “mass amnesty” for migrants, The Post can reveal. Data shows that since 2022, more than 350,000 asylum cases filed by migrants have been closed by the US government if the applicants don’t have a criminal record or are otherwise not deemed a threat to the country. This means that while the migrants are not granted or denied asylum — their cases...

While the government and media react with outrage to a drunken chant of ‘Foreigners out – Germany for the Germans,’ by trying to destroy the young people’s lives, they remain conspicuously silent on the rising tide of deadly and sexual migrant-related crimes and violence. Germany is in a state of hysteria over a group of intoxicated young people who were recorded chanting “Foreigners out – Germany for the Germans” to a pop song on the island of Sylt. The reaction from the open borders federal government and the media has been outrageous, with top officials like Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz...

Police responded to the storied 45th Street hotel, which has been converted to house asylum seekers, around 2:15 p.m on May 19 in response to a reported dispute between the migrants there, sources said....

In several German states including Hesse, Baden-Württemberg, and Hamburg, around three-quarters of benefit claimants are either first- or second-generation migrants, suggesting that mass immigration of low-skilled workers is not a net benefit to Europe's largest economy.. Nearly two-thirds of German residents receiving unemployment benefits have a migration background, new figures from the Federal Employment Agency have revealed. The statistics published by the federal agency and cited by the Die Welt broadsheet showed that 63.1 percent of those in receipt of the so-called citizen’s income, or “Bürgergeld,” are of migrant origin, and “most do not have a German passport.” The German...

President Joe Biden’s border chief says he does not know the death rate of the many migrants heading to his border, even though he has thousands of deputies who closely track the flow of migrants into the United States. Border chief Alejandro Mayorkas was asked on Friday, “What percentage of people die trying to get in this country?” “I don’t know … [it is] a percentage,” responded the Cuban-born, pro-migration zealot. Mayorkas has repeatedly described his support for migrants and has funded thousands of deputies and contractors to track, count, feed, and bus at least six million migrants heading to...

Politico: Slovakia’s new leader Robert Fico made waves during the country’s recent election campaign by warning that he would not send “another bullet” to help Ukraine fend off the Russian invasion.
