Hours after HBO announced when Leaving Neverland would premiere, the estate of Michael Jackson fired off a 10-page letter to HBO’s CEO slamming the film and HBO’s decision to air it. **SNIP** The letter to HBO continued, “As for Safechuck, by his own admission, he did not ‘realize’ that he had been abused until after he saw Robson on the Today Show in May 2013 being interviewed by Matt Lauer about Robson’s newly-concocted story of abuse. All of a sudden, Safechuck realized that he had been abused. He then contacted Robson’s lawyers and filed copycat lawsuits against the Estate for...

As a young girl growing up in Virginia, I experienced racism firsthand. I know what it looks like and how it feels. I’ve also spent a good part of my life defending the rights of preborn children to live and love among us. It’s my personal mission to fight for and defend the value and dignity of human life. Most Virginians share these beliefs. They are repelled by racism, repulsed by the thought of infanticide. This is why Gov. Ralph Northam must resign. Any decision on his part to delay appears to be an act of a man weighing what...

Democratic Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam is looking at the man in the mirror today, and the disgraced politician is a far cry from the progressive hero he was earlier this week. While the opportunistic politicians scamper like rats from the scene, media activists are taking a stand for their man, deflecting and reshaping the narrative in a desperate attempt to save their hero. The media’s love for Northam was earned. It started on a radio show as he mused about ending the life of unborn children in the third trimester if they were accidentally born alive mid-abortion. He was cool...

He apologized for the picture appearing on his page, calling the image "offensive" and "racist," but said that he had nothing to do with the preparation of the yearbook, nor did he buy it. He said that while he did not attend that party where the picture was taken, he did attend another party the same year in which he said he "darkened my face as part of a Michael Jackson costume." He also said that he did not expect Virginians to believe him immediately or to forgive his actions right away: "I am just asking for that ability to...

It has been apparent since the mid 1990s that Michael Jackson was a child molester. A great entertainer, yes, but almost certainly a serial abuser of little boys. That his attorneys managed to cast doubt on witnesses in a notorious 2005 criminal trial doesn’t inspire much confidence. As was the case with Bill Cosby, the pattern of grotesque allegations has become impossible to ignore. Wade Robson, 36, and James Safechuck, 40, have previously stated under oath that they weren’t victimized by Jackson when they were children. They are now saying their previous testimony was untrue and that it resulted from...

The Sundance Film Festival kicked off on Thursday, 1-24-19, flooding the streets of Park City, UT with PIBs (People In Black) navigating snow covered Main Street in flip-flops, 9” heels and butt-hugger speedo skirts. Most of them rent cars and try to drive even though they’ve never seen snow anywhere other than the movies. And being Angelinos they are undaunted by the gridlock they create around town trying to maneuver the few roads around town. Locals know to stay home during “the Fest” except when absolutely necessary, like going skiing, and we always pack survival cakes for the trip, just...

The Eagles have flown past Michael Jackson’s Thriller to take the record for the best-selling album of all time. Recording Industry Association of America confirmed to the Associated Press on Monday that the band’s 1976 compilation album, Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975), has been certified 38x platinum, which means sales and streams of the album have reached 38 million copies. That officially puts it ahead of Thriller, which has been certified 33x platinum. That’s not even the limit of the Eagles’ record-selling dominance. In addition to grabbing the No. 1 spot, the band also has the third-best-selling album of all time:...

In the chats, Jones was candid about his feelings about Taylor Swift (“We need more songs, man. F—ing songs, not hooks.”), Paul McCartney (“the worst bass player I ever heard”) and Michael Jackson (whom he called “greedy”), among others. Jones also said Jackson was a song stealer.
There was really something about Michael Jackson. He was so likable. At his most charming, he had one of the most charismatic and endearing personas we’d ever seen. You rooted for him, were happy for him. Jackson was the most sensational performer — the full package — of his era. From his voice to his image to his dancing, it was so easy to get swept up in his High Pop Art. Off the Wall, his first adult solo album, showed off an extraordinary young man with astonishing moves, and Thriller, well, Thriller was about something more than marketing; it was the work of a pop auteur of unparalleled gifts, as both a composer and (importantly) a celebrity as well.

California cops just found an audio recording of the 1993 interview in which Corey Feldman has said he identified alleged sexual predators — after police previously claimed the former child actor never named names, according to a report. SNIP Feldman claimed in October that he had provided names of sexual predators in Hollywood to Santa Barbara County police in 1993 during their probe into Michael Jackson’s molestation charges. The Sheriff’s Office at the time denied having any records of Feldman revealing such information — but now says it has unearthed recordings of the interview.

White actor Joseph Fiennes had been cast to play Michael Jackson in an episode of the cable show “Urban Myths,” reports USA Today. Michael Jackson’s Neverland estate in Santa Barbara County, Calif., was filled with child pornography, bloody animal torture and S&M pictures, according to police reports obtained by Radar Online. The reports stem from multiple raids by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department on the compound connected to the 2003 child sex abuse investigation of the pop icon. It has been announced that white, British actor Joseph Fiennes, the younger brother of Ralph Fiennes (and just as white), has been cast to play Michael Jackson in an upcoming British television comedy. This news comes at a very precarious time for American film, a time when black actors in Hollywood are complaining that they aren't being recognized for their roles as they should. It also comes at a time when some black conservatives are calling out Black History Month and BET as examples of racist double standards.

Fans of the Gloved One want the white actor cast to play Michael Jackson in a new British TV movie to "Beat It." "Because we aren't whitewashed enough in Hollywood, apparently," read a tweet posted on BET's Twitter page on Wednesday. "They seriously couldn't find a black actor to play Michael Jackson?," tweeted DeRay Mckesson, an American civil rights activist and leader in the "Black Lives Matter" movement. Imani Gandy wrote, "They cast a white guy to play Michael Jackson. I think we can admit that this whole 'planet earth' thing isn't working out."
