Charles Cooke calls this an ideological Turing test, i.e. a question whose answer reveals how plausible it is that Trump really is who he claims to be. The standard answer from nearly all serious pro-lifers is that it’s the abortionist, not his patient, who should be sanctioned if and when abortion is banned. The March of Life explains why:

MSNBC host Chris Matthews was stunned on Tuesday night by the Republican leadership’s failure to take down Donald Trump. He mocked them for not being like the Democrats and letting voters decide on their nominee. (SNIP) Democrats, unlike Republican, have used unelected super delegates to give Hillary Clinton an enormous advantage in winning their parties nomination despite the fact that Sanders has received more votes, especially with millennials.

On a special post-GOP debate edition of Hardball Thursday night Chris Matthews turned up the spin to brush the dirt off of Donald Trump. “I thought the funniest line tonight was when Rubio was doing his upper cuts … He said “you hired illegal immigrants,†people without documentation and trump says “you've never hired anybody.â€â€ (SNIP) “I'm sorry that still is Trump's trump card and it is, that he's built and these other guys are junior debaters who have just come in the Senate. They've done nothing in their lives except learn how to debate on television basically.†Matthews jabbed....

MSNBC's Hardball host Chris Matthews has never hidden the fact that he's all in for Hillary Clinton. But now his unwavering support for the former secretary of state has enraged the far left enough for them to start a petition demanding that MSNBC suspend the anchor for "his constant shilling" for her. The petition, started by the far-left MoveOn.org, wants Matthews removed from the air for the duration of the 2016 presidential campaign or be required to give its favored candidate Bernie Sanders equal time

For years MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews has accused conservatives and Republicans of opposing Barack Obama simply because he's the country‘s first black president and therefore, they're a bunch of racists. "Who‘s going to watch a debate between the two Cuban guys? Who‘s gonna watch a debate between Rubio, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz? Who cares!" Matthews said on his show Tuesday night.

I don't watch a lot of MSNBC, but when I read that Carly Fiorina had overmatched Chris Matthews I just had to watch. Folks, it's not even close. Matthews was simply no match for Fiorina.

DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews this week..the two were discussing Bernie Sanders and the role he should play in the next Democratic National Convention. Then Matthews asked Schultz to explain the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist and things got very interesting.... Wasserman-Schultz talked up his “progressive populist message” that people like, when Matthews asked her point-blank, “What’s the difference between a Democrat and a socialist? I used to think there was a big difference. What do you think it is?” Wasserman-Schultz ducked the question, but Matthews pressed her and said, “You’re the...

(VIDEO-AT-LINK) MSNBC’s “Hardball” host Chris Matthews said that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) fears Donald Trump in a similar fashion to how people feared Uday and Qusay on Monday. After playing a clip of Cruz saying he wouldn’t attack Trump, the Huffington Post’s Howard Fineman said that Cruz “is hoping that he avoids the gaze” of “the clown Terminator in Donald Trump....

GEORGE MITCHELL: ...So, the sanctions, which are the reason that Iran is at the table, which are effective because they're universal, not just unilateral U.S. sanctions, we'll go from universal to unilateral and therefore from effective to ineffective. And what they will accomplish is the exact opposite of what they say they want: Iran then with a clear path to the bomb and the U.S. Congress having sidelined an agreement that was entered into by six major countries in the world. CHRIS MATTHEWS, host: Take it a step further. I know you've done this in your head. I think the...

Tuesday on MSNBC’s Hardball,” while discussing Hillary Clinton’s refusal to turn over her email server to a neutral third party to end the controversy over her use of a private system while serving as secretary of state, host Chris Matthews pondered with former RNC chair Michael Steele that in this scenario, has Clinton cast herself in the role of Rose Mary Woods, the Nixon secretary who erased the 18 minute gap in the infamous Watergate tapes.

For once I agree with what Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC's Hardball, said. Matthews said that the Republicans "hate" Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama. You remember Chris Matthews. He said in March 2008, that "I Felt This Thrill Going Up My Leg" as Obama spoke. Fuming over what he said was insufficient outrage at Rudy Giuliani's assertion that Obama doesn't "love America," Matthews said Republicans are "haters" seven times. Matthews said: You want to know about that fight among Republicans running for President is all about? ... It's about who can hate President Obama the most. I will finish with...

MSNBC host Chris Matthews offered his theory about what kind of mass immigration would be acceptable to conservatives. During an exchange on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday, Maher was discussing President Obama’s recent amnesty action and began discussing America’s attitude towards immigrants in general. “When has America ever, ever been welcoming to immigrants?” Maher asked. “Certainly not the Irish. Need not apply.” Matthews, who was raised in an Irish Catholic family, chimed in, saying “probably the last time Heidi Klum visited,” referencing the German supermodel. “What, you mean because she’s hot?” asked Maher. “Yes!” exclaimed Matthews, adding...

MSNBC host Chris Matthews expressed dismay over President Obama’s post-election press conference on Wednesday, calling him entirely deaf to the millions of Americans who voted against his plan to grant executive amnesty for as many as 6 million illegal immigrants. “The people, if you look at the polling, their problem is illegal immigration,” he said. “He says, ‘I’m going to fix the problem.’ He doesn’t mean he’s gonna stop illegal immigration. He’s not going to do anything to stop illegal hiring, which is the magnet for illegal immigration, really. He’s going to basically say, ‘I’m going to deal with them...
