MSNBC host Chris Matthews was stunned on Tuesday night by the Republican leadership’s failure to take down Donald Trump. He mocked them for not being like the Democrats and letting voters decide on their nominee.
(SNIP) Democrats, unlike Republican, have used unelected super delegates to give Hillary Clinton an enormous advantage in winning their parties nomination despite the fact that Sanders has received more votes, especially with millennials.
Super delegates became an artifact of the democRAT party after George McGovern won the nomination in 1972. The party wanted to ensure that a populist was never nominated again.
The party that does this, or even contemplates this is no better than a stinking Union and deserves to be taken down and extinguished.
McGovern was a populist? He was a hard-core leftie with bad dentures who was always seen in the company of Barbra Streisand and Warren Beatty. The Democrats didn’t want an outright commie to win the nomination, hence the super delegates. Didn’t work out the way they hoped.
This election has exposed how the uniparty works to choose our president every election. At least the GOP puts on a show and makes it look like the people are picking the nominee. Trump is the only one who can break through those shenanigans.
