Michigan Rep. Justin Amash (L) confirmed Thursday evening that he was not seeking reelection to Congress, in an apparent end to his 2020 political aspirations. Amash retweeted an article from The Detroit News that quoted an aide to the congressman as saying his reelection campaign had "idled" in February, and that Amash did not intend to seek the Libertarian Party's nomination for the district after abandoning the Republican Party last year. "He hasn't been campaigning for any office and doesn't plan to seek the nomination for any office," an adviser told the publication. "I love representing our community in Congress....

Of course we’re talking about the St. Louis couple who brandished firearms at “peaceful protesters” who knocked down a gate and marched through their private property. Plenty of lefties can’t believe that they haven’t been arrested yet for pointing guns at people, but as The Federalist reports, left-wing think tank president Jerry Taylor wouldn’t have waited for the police. In a now-deleted tweet, he says he would have rushed the couple, beaten their brains in, and not apologized either.

Clifford Wagner, an 80-year-old Republican in Tucson, Ariz., never cared for President Trump. He supported Jeb Bush in the 2016 presidential primary race and cast a protest vote in the general election for Gary Johnson, the Libertarian nominee. An Air Force veteran, Mr. Wagner described the Trump presidency as a mortifying experience: His friends in Europe and Japan tell him the United States has become “the laughingstock of the world.” This year, Mr. Wagner said he would register his opposition to Mr. Trump more emphatically than he did in 2016. He plans to vote for Joseph R. Biden Jr., the...

1- Basic auto repair shops will disappear. Read on to know why. 2- A gas/diesel engine has 20,000 individual parts. An electrical motor has only 20 parts. Electric cars are sold with lifetime guarantees and are repaired only by dealers. It takes only 10 minutes to remove and replace an electric motor. 3- Faulty electric motors are not repaired in the dealership but are sent to a regional repair shop that repairs them with robots 4- Your electric motor malfunction light goes on, so you drive up to what looks like a car wash, and your car is towed through...

Joe Rogan has one of the most popular podcasts in the world. This week, he tested the limits of that popularity by saying white people are the ones doing the most of the rioting and looting in recent weeks. Rogan is known for his enthusiastic consumption of marijuana, sometimes with a guest on the air. http://whitegirlbleedalot.com/joe-rogan-gets-high-on-his-fantasy-of-white-crime-a-new-podcast-from-colin-flaherty/ Which makes sense because no one could reach that level of Denial=, Deceit and Delusion without some significant chemical or herbal interventions! He’s hardly alone.

Voting in the all-day convention at a church in Campbell County concluded at 7 p.m., but party officials did not announce the results until after 1 a.m. Fifth District GOP chairman Melvin Adams said 2,537 delegates voted Saturday. Good said he received 58% of the tally. On Twitter Riggleman asserted that "voting irregularities and ballot stuffing has been reported in multiple counties" in the district. He added: "We are evaluating all our options at this time." As for Riggleman's allegations, Good said:...

While self-driving cars won't get distracted or drive drunk, that only accounts for a third of wrecks that occur, according to the insurance industry. In a blow to hopes for a future free of car crashes with the coming of self-driving cars, a study released Thursday by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety shows totally driverless cars would have a difficult time achieving such a goal. The IIHS looked at more than 5,000 police-reported crashes from the National Motor Vehicle Crash Causation Survey, which the insurance industry-funded group said represents vehicle crashes that resulted in one car towed and required...

Rep. Justin Amash (L-Mich.) announced Saturday he will not run for president as a Libertarian, saying the circumstances do not “lend themselves” toward a successful third-party campaign. “I’ve spent nearly three weeks assessing the race, appearing in media, talking to delegates and donors, watching the Libertarian Party’s convention plan unfold, and gathering feedback from family, friends, and other advisers,” Amash tweeted. “After much reflection, I’ve concluded that circumstances don’t lend themselves to my success as a candidate for president this year, and therefore I will not be a candidate.” Amash maintained that a third party candidate could contribute a fresh...

At least 1,000 Kentuckians protested Saturday in Frankfort against Gov. Andy Beshear’s decision to allow abortions to continue while restricting church gatherings and small businesses. Kentucky Today reports protesters urged the governor to reopen the state and allow people to return to church and work. Like many Democrat governors, Beshear restricted church gatherings, small businesses, non-essential medical care and more to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus and preserve medical supplies for life-saving medical care. However, the governor allowed an exception for elective abortions – after the state’s only abortion clinic donated to his campaign, something state Rep. Stan...

There is an outcry over a video of an NYPD officer taking down a bystander who was watching officers make an arrest for an apparent social distancing violation this weekend. The incident was reported Saturday evening around 5:30 on 9th Street and Avenue D in the East Village. As a couple was being arrested, video shows one of the officers break away from that arrest to walk up to a bystander with his taser drawn -- swearing and telling him to move back. Video showed the plainclothes officer, who was not wearing a protective face mask, slapping 33-year-old Donni Wright...

TEL AVIV – An Israeli hospital will begin testing COVID-19 patients with medicinal cannabis, which is known to have anti-viral properties, as part of a new experimental treatment. Dozens of COVID-19 patients in moderate condition at Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv are expected to be treated. Barak Cohen, a senior anesthesiologist who is in charge of managing the hospital’s coronavirus response, stressed the treatment would alleviate symptoms by using “a component...

He once voted to appropriate taxpayer dollars from Christians and other Americans so military personnel could have their genitals mutilated:...Amash announced his presidential campaign last week, likely an effort to sabotage President Trump in the key battleground state of Michigan. But with Amash going around promoting trannies, he may pull more liberal voters than conservatives.

The Army Times appointed as its top editor a 28-year-old feminist from Brooklyn who has repeatedly tweeted that she hates President Donald Trump and worked as a spokeswoman for a New York councilman who describes himself as a “moderate Democrat.” After interning for several Democrats, graduating Hofstra University in 2014, and contemplating art school, Sarah Sicard wrote for a marijuana publication called the “Bluntness,” served as communications director for a New York city council member, and worked in corporate PR, according to her resume and online bios.

This piece by Dr. Ashish K. Jha, Director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, is absolutely crucial reading, especially by Washington policymakers handling the COVID-19 crisis. It puts forth the steps that must be taken immediately if we are to reopen the economy as soon as possible without a resurgence of this ghastly disease. The key is a rapid ramp-up of testing: The COVID-19 pandemic is taking an unprecedented toll on Americans and on the country’s daily life. President Trump has said he wants to open up again—we all do. The real question is how we reopen in a way...

Rep. Justin Amash is considering a third-party presidential run this year to challenge President Trump and Joe Biden, and will be making a decision “soon,” his campaign said Wednesday. The campaign for Amash, the former Republican, put out a statement Wednesday saying the Michigan independent will make a decision “soon.” “In mid-February, Justin Amash paused active campaigning for his congressional seat to carefully consider a presidential run,” his campaign said. “He has been discussing the potential campaign with his family, his friends, his team, and others, and a decision can be expected soon.” […] Amash is a libertarian-minded conservative who...
