BROOKLYN — Attempt to regain your sanity as the election results roll in by cuddling up with some feline friends Tuesday night in Brooklyn Heights. The Brooklyn Cat Cafe, at 149 Atlantic Ave., will be hosting an election night “comfort” party from 8 p.m. to midnight. The cafe, where about a dozen adoptable cats roam free, will be screening the election results on a projector, as well as some funny cat videos interspersed throughout to “help reduce the tension,” a listing for the event said. The watch party is meant to bring a sense of humor to what’s been a...

Editor’s Note: Normal people might find some of this offensive. (We hope.) If you want to be a victim, become a liberal. It doesn’t matter whether you want to go online to whine about your lot in life or whether you want to harm others with everything from shutting down free speech to fiddling with the climate. Both work. It comes down to our different world views. When liberals talk about triggering, they mean someone said something their precious little ears couldn’t handle. (Note: That video spawned the “trigglypuff” meme. Watch it and you will understand.) When conservatives talk about...

Out of the many dramas in the last two weeks of national political conventions, one particular moment caught my eye: when NARAL Pro-Choice America president Ilyse Hogue took the stage and told the story of the time she aborted her first child because it was too inconvenient to become a mother. Please understand, she didn’t tell this in hushed tones of grief and sorrow. She was proud of her abortion. “I am a fourth-generation Texan,” she started, and went on to explain how “tough” Texas women are. “To succeed in life, all we need are the tools, the trust and...

For Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe, not only do Donald “Trump's "jokes" about Russia amount to "inviting an adversary to wage cyberwar against the U.S.," but they also "appear to violate the Logan Act and might even constitute treason,” he tweeted Thursday........adding that he “must have been hallucinating” at hearing Trump’s calls for Russian hackers to infiltrate Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s emails.

Following the highly anticipated DNC speech by First Lady Michelle Obama on Monday, CNN’s Anderson Cooper called out Political Commentator Van Jones for crying during the speech. “Well I mean, first of all, if you weren't moved by that, go see the doctor,” he responded. Jones continued by speaking glowingly about the speech, “She gave a clinic on how to connect to the American people,” and “It was her speaking as a mother.” The rest of the panelists did much of the same, they all praised her speech for different reasons. CNN’s Senior Political Reporter Nia-Malika Henderson praised Hillary Clinton’s...

We experienced an aggressive protest at UC Davis, but this is part of a disturbing, growing trend of censorship of conservative speech on college campuses. This is an extended version of an article from our last printed newsletter. Warning: This blog post includes strong language when directly quoting leftist protesters. On February 29th through March 1st at UC Davis, we faced our most aggressive, persistent, and unreasonable protest yet. As many of you know, our preferred way of doing outreach is to set up a simple poll table that asks questions like, “Should Abortion Remain Legal?” and provide options for...

If people manage to be proud of being perverts, it stands to reason that they can also be proud of the horrible diseases they contract through their perversion. That’s why Twitter is acrawl with the #ShoutYourStatus hashtag, in honor of April being STD Awareness Month: Seems to me that with the virally disproportionate spread of STDs among practitioners of sodomy, it would make more sense to “raise awareness” about the natural consequences of sexual promiscuity during June, which President Obama regularly dubs “LGBT Pride Month.” Nonetheless, and speaking of pride and promiscuity, you oughta head on over to Twitter and...

Richard Gere has branded Donald Trump America’s version of Mussolini as the Republican establishment’s campaign to stop him stepped into high gear. The Pretty Woman star said electing Mr Trump to be President would be a ‘slippery slope’ to deporting Jews and black people.

As liberals spend their time tooling around with jihadis and push for more refugees from the mid-east, Europe continues to burn and contort with chilling crimes by the invaders.

The Coffee Party, a liberal Facebook group with nearly a million fans, posted this meme of Thomas Paine, one of America’s founding fathers. While I’m glad to see anyone studying the Founding, it looks like the message was lost on a majority of their left-leaning audience. Below are 11 of the best comments from their readers, with my responses: 1. “That is exactly like trying to reason with a republikkklan†-Ed. You know the KKK was founded by Democrats, right? 2. “Thomas Paine must have anticipated the Tea Party!†-Ed. Yes, he did – the original Tea Party that you’ve...

The Justice Department will not seek criminal charges against former IRS official Lois Lerner for her role in targeting conservative non-profits groups, CNN is reporting. The investigation into Lerner’s and the IRS’ handling of conservative groups’ tax-exempt applications uncovered substantial mismanagement and poor judgment, but none of it rose to the criminal level, according to the letter, which Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik sent to members of Congress on Friday. “Substantial evidence of mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia leading to the belief by many tax-exempt applicants that the IRS targeted them based on their political viewpoints. But poor management...

A study from Queen Mary University in London, determined that liberals use more profanity on Twitter than conservatives. Researchers determined their results by studying over 300,000 followers of official Democratic and Republican Party accounts to find differences in language between people of opposing political leanings. Researchers concluded that liberals were more likely to use swear words because they tended to be more emotionally expressive than conservatives.

It is a proven fact that specialized and preferential programming based on skin color has not worked. It is has instead fomented acrimony, resentment and a divided America. With that factoid in mind, can anything more be done to poison the minds of blacks against America and specifically whites in America? Apparently, Theodore R. Johnson, a former White House fellow and current Ph.D candidate in law and policy at Northeastern University, thinks so. Johnson has determined: “Racial reconciliation is impossible without some kind of broad-based systematic reparations.” He argues that same can only be brought about by weighted voting where...

“The House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) was created in 1938 to investigate alleged disloyalty and subversive activities on the part of private citizens, public employees, and those organizations suspected of having Communist ties.” And “The work of the committee continued to decline in importance throughout the late 1950s and early 1960s until the committee itself was renamed the House Internal Security Committee in 1969, prefiguring its eventual abolition in 1975.” We all know of what many believed as overreach and showmanship by Joe McCarthy during the life of this committee. McCarthyism is the term born from that era, and a...

. . . They knew he was named after Cecil Rhodes, a man libs despise as an apparent racist and imperialist?'Cecil was first identified in 2008 or 2009, spotted with his brother. The pair were seen at a "pan" or watering hole called Magisihole Pan, on the southern boundary of Hwange park. Magisihole Pan translates as "White Man's watering hole" and so the siblings were named after famous white men: Cecil, after Cecil Rhodes, and Leander – named after Leander Starr Jameson, a pioneer in southern Africa and colleague of Rhodes.'I wonder if they'd see this venerable lion's death as...

A judge on Friday ordered the seizure of identification documents and computer hard drives from Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s office, and chastised his attorneys for failing to turn over the evidence, requested months ago in a racial-profiling case against the Arizona lawman. The U.S. Marshals Service later raided the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. U.S. District Judge Murray Snow ordered the raid after a court-ordered monitor reported the sheriff’s office failed to hand over more than 1,400 identification documents – driver’s licenses, passports and identification cards – as part of a misconduct investigation involving the sheriff’s office.

On Thursday’s edition of PBS’s Tavis Smiley show, William Hurt the star of AMC’s Humans (a science fiction show that addresses the future of artificial intelligence) assured PBS’s Tavis Smiley that self-aware androids weren’t the monster to worry about. No the real threat, according to the four-time Academy Award nominee, was “global warming.”

The usual suspects talk a lot about privilege in America: white privilege or male privilege. It makes for a good catchphrase for their community organizers and social justice warriors. They can accuse anyone of anything they like, because male or white privilege. Yay! But everybody else in America knows that you'd better watch what you say, in public or in private. Say the wrong thing, and you could lose your job, unless you are a liberal. We have had a couple of examples in the last couple of weeks. Nobel Prize Laureate Sir Tim Hunt made an injudicious remark about...

When is a White House event for 500 people considered “private?” They won’t say. Nor would they say, in advance, that hundreds of guests were expected on Saturday night for a soiree and serenade from Prince, as guests of the President and First Lady. All White House spokesman Josh Earnest would say about the Saturday event was that the First Family paid for it (though he wouldn’t elaborate on how much it cost, or whether things like security were also covered).

Left-wingers and progressives in America are becoming insufferable, are they not? It's quite apparent that they have no desire to "live and let live," but want to force their delusions off onto everyone else. You will live, think, and do as the Left tells you, whether you like it or not. Even in the pettiest of way, they can't help themselves. Take, for example, this story coming out of the University of Oregon. To summarize for the reader, a student named Elle Mallon, who was running for office in student government filed a number of grievances against a rival student...
