Americans have a more unfavorable view of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts than they did seven years earlier, according to a new poll, which finds his support among Republicans, in particular, having eroded sharply. Among Republicans, Roberts's drop has been more drastic. Sixty-seven percent of Republicans had a favorable view of Roberts in 2005, a figure which plummets 40 points to 27 percent in the 2012 survey. Four percent had an unfavorable view of the chief justice in 2005, jumping to 44 percent in the new poll.

Washington (CNN) -- More than three years after leaving office, former President George W. Bush remains unpopular with the public, according to a new national poll. A CNN/ORC International poll also indicates that two-thirds of Americans have a positive view of Bush's predecessor, former President Bill Clinton. Only 33% of New Jersey residents approve the job Christie is doing as governor. Nearly twice the number, 63% disapprove. The telephone poll by SurveyUSA has a margin of error of plus or minus 4%.

PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans' favorable rating of the Democratic Party dropped to 41% in a late March USA Today/Gallup poll, the lowest point in the 18-year history of this measure. There’s lot of bad news for the Democrats in the survey just released by Democracy Corps and Third Way, conducted by Democratic pollster Stanley Greenberg’s firm.
