The impoverished Yazidi community survived ISIS genocidal attacks but has been targeted repeatedly by Turkey since 2017. Turkey again carried out a targeted assassination of Yazidi members of a far-left group in Sinjar in northern Iraq on Wednesday, according to local reports. It is one of several airstrikes Turkey has carried out in the area where members of the Yazidi minority live. The impoverished Yazidi community survived ISIS genocidal attacks but have now been targeted repeatedly by Turkey since 2017, including a Turkish invasion of Afrin in 2018 that led to ethnic-cleansing of Yazidi villages and a Turkish attack with...

An Iranian defector, Hamid Reza Zakeri, told German police that Iran was involved in the September 11th attacks, the Chicago Tribune reported. Zakeri, 28, was providing testimony in the trial of accused plotter Abdel-Ghani Mzoudi, a Moroccan student who lived in Hamburg and was friends with three of the four suicide pilots. According to the defector, the attacks were an al-Qaida/Iranian joint venture, for which ultimate responsibility lay with a man named Saif al-Adel, a Hizbullah official in Iran. The testimony was greeted with pronounced skepticism by some German intelligence officials, saying that it "looks a little bit constructed."...

After ISIS stunt and a lot of earlier bad reporting, why should we believe anything the Washington Post writes? ( Full title). ... After years of lying to the public why does any newspaper or other media outlet trust and reprint anything that comes from people working for the Washington Post? The Washington Post, in collusion with other Democrats and media outlets pushed the hoax (fraud) on the public that Russia colluded with DonaldTrump in the 2016 election to steal the election from Hillary Clinton, ultimately with absolutely no evidence. The WP was a leader in pushing the charges against...

Even the Gray Lady admits the president is up against a powerful bureaucracy that wants him sunk.. The New York Times on Thursday published a remarkable piece that essentially acknowledged the existence of an American “deep state” and its implacable hostility to Donald Trump. ... American foreign policy has become the almost exclusive domain of unelected bureaucrats impervious to the views of elected officials—even presidents—who may harbor outlooks different from their own. This is a big deal because, even in today’s highly charged political environment, with a sitting president under constant guerrilla attack, few have been willing to acknowledge any...

Initial reports overstated the severity of the dog’s wounds, and she’s already back on duty. And although her name isn’t being released, her face is now famous…Seriously, though, I just have a few questions for this war hero: Who’s a good girl? Are you a good girl? Wanna go outside? Who is a good, good girl? Sorry, cat-lovers, but you’ll never feel this sort of pride. Cats are useless on the battlefield. A cat would’ve just stared at al-Baghdadi as he ran away. A cat might’ve even helped him! Cats are cute, but you just can’t trust ’em when it...

Multiple Defense Department sources confirmed to Newsweek on Monday that the dog's name is Conan. During a Sunday morning press conference to announce the death of Baghdadi, Trump said the dog was injured when the Islamic State leader detonated a suicide vest, killing himself and three children. Defense Department sources said that Conan, the dog wounded from the special operations Syria raid which resulted in the death of Baghdadi is named after Conan O'Brien the comedian versus the barbarian.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff were not informed in advance of the U.S. special operations forces raid in northwestern Syria in which ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi died, Schiff said on ABC’s "This Week" "My understanding [Pelosi] wasn’t [told]. But a couple of things, first of all, good riddance. [Al-Baghdadi] was a blood thirsty killer to the degree that he retained operational control of ISIS, Schiff said. "This is an operational success, this is a symbolic victory. He had the blood of thousands and thousands of people on his hands, including...

DOD records obtained by Judicial Watch contain the first official documentation that the Obama administration knew that weapons were being shipped from the Port of Benghazi to rebel troops in Syria. The heavily redacted documents do not disclose who was shipping the weapons. Another DIA report, written in August 2012 (the same time period the U.S. was monitoring weapons flows from Libya to Syria), said that the opposition in Syria was driven by al Qaeda and other extremist Muslim groups: “the Salafist, the Muslim Brotherhood, and AQI are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria.” The growing sectarian direction...

quite disturbing to learn that, contrary to what the press had .. assured us about a supposedly disgruntled aircraft mechanic who got caught trying to disable a Boeing 737, the guy had ISIS video on his cell phone. ... Doesn't everyone with labor beefs against his boss have ISIS video murders on his cell phone? ... Abdul-Majeed Marouf Ahmed Alani might just have been motivated by ISIS's brand of Islamism, not a woikin' man's desire for more overtime. The gullible media reported it otherwise, always eager to look the other way on Islamist terror. ... Alani's phone also had a...

Trump steps in to save Christians and Yazidis from extinction by jihadists JUL 19, 2019 3:37 PM BY CHRISTINE DOUGLASS-WILLIAMS To acknowledge the levels of Christian persecution and Yazidis means to acknowledge a major problem within Islamic countries which are governed by the sharia; therefore, Christians have been left virtually ignored. That is, until Donald Trump decided to step in. “U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration is helping bring Christians and Yazidis in Iraq back from the brink of extinction fomented by a genocidal campaign at the hands of the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL), religious minority representatives declared this week at the...

Irish soldier converts to Islam, joins ISIS, now pleads to return despite calling for caliphate and praising jihadis JUL 6, 2019 4:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER “I never killed anyone,” Lisa Smith insists. Well, great: an unverifiable claim. But it doesn’t matter anyway. Hitler never killed anyone either, if we’re talking about actually holding the gun and pulling the trigger. But he was responsible for the murders of millions of people. Lisa Smith didn’t call for anyone specifically to be killed, as far as we know, but she joined an entity that has repeatedly called for the murders of non-Muslims...

Our current state of counterterrorism is such that Robert Spencer, Steven Emerson, Patrick Poole, Dave Reaboi, John Rossomando, Stephen Coughlin, or Philip Haney would be extremely unlikely to be invited as experts on terrorism. The wife of the Ground Zero Mosque Imam though? Sure. Come on down and tell us that ISIS supporters don't understand Islam. ... why is the defense bringing in Khan to testify as to whether an ISIS supporter properly understands Islam? Is this really about helping the defendant or about allowing Khan to promote a particular narrative?

After Dean Obeidallah wrote a Daily Beast article condemning President Trump’s approach to white supremacist terror in 2017, the neo-Nazi site The Daily Stormer website falsely accused Obeidallah of being behind an ISIS attack. Now The Daily Stormer’s founder is being forced to pay him millions for the smear. Obeidallah, a comedian and radio host, sued Daily Stormer founder Andrew Anglin for defamation, and on Wednesday a judge ordered Anglin to pay $4.1 million in damages.

Stories reflected in the 2014 rise of ISIS by the sword and its 2018 fall under the sword are unfolding in dramatic fashion right now in seemingly unlikely American suburbia. In places like Plano, Texas, the prosperous community of to-the-horizon McMansions just north of Dallas, metaphors can be found for the smoking rubble of the geographically distant ISIS caliphate. Were the brothers Arman and Oman Ali to come home to Plano right now, they would find their ISIS-simpatico parents in federal custody and maybe even join them there. Fealty to the Islamist religious ideal was an Ali family affair. And...

— well over 10,000 have filtered out over the past two weeks. “What we are seeing now is not the surrender of (IS) as an organization but a calculated decision to preserve the safety of their families and preservation of their capabilities,” said Gen.
