International terrorist Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, better known as "Carlos the Jackal," is expected to testify in the Berlin trial of a German left-wing extremist. French authorities have agreed to transfer Sanchez to Berlin for his testimony under tight security. Sanchez, 54, is currently serving a life sentence in a French prison for murdering two French intelligence agents and an informant. The Venezuelan native was convicted of the murders in 1975 but only captured in Sudan in 1994.
