<p>Stock up the freezer if you like steak because beef prices at the supermarket are on their way up. And they're likely to stay there for a while.</p>
<p>U.S. cattle prices are at a record high, say economists with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. They've increased 34% since July, and this month the benchmark price of Nebraska choice steers went from $90 to $116 per 100 pounds. A year ago, the price per 100 pounds was $64.</p>
