A new study shows that the active ingredient in marijuana may preserve a crucial neurotransmitter, and so stave off the effects of Alzheimer’s disease, according to scientists at the VW Microbus Institute for Herbal Research. Those afflicted with Alzheimer’s suffer from memory loss, impaired decision-making, and diminished language and movement skills.
