Good Sunday Morning to all. A couple of weeks I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I have been tracking my sugar levels and meet with Doc. tomorrow. My readings have been as low as 180 and as high as 450. The Doc. told me to expect to go on 'injections'. I have gobbled up all kinds of diabetes info...changed my diet...the whole 9. Anyone out there with diabetes..with the type of readings I am getting from the glucometer...are my options limited to injections? My Doc. is hell bent on it..has ruled out tablets. Any thoughts? Thanks a bunch.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if you could give a fellow conservative some advice on moving to Texas. I am currently living in Chicago, and I am fed up with the taxes, cold weather, Democratic culture and bad economy here. I am seriously considering a move to Texas, I am fairly young, 26, and I am almost done with my degree in marketing, although I currently posses a B.A. in journalism. I recently switched from IE6 to Firefox and now have a glitch which is rather annoying. I enter a reply message on a thread and click preview. I then get an error message stating FireFox could not find the link I was connecting to (there is no link in the message) or I was not logged on. I back arrow to the screen with the message entry and click preview again. This time it works and I am able to post the message. Any suggestions or hints on how to correct this problem will be greatly appreciated. Mike

My father's father served in WWII, and brought home with him a German Luger (with holster). My father wondered how he'd go about finding its value, and I told him I'd try to see if I could get some answers here. So...any ideas on where to take it or what to do to find the value? It's a long story, so I'll spare the details, but I have a "must take" trip to Pittsburgh the first week in March (I know; not the optimum time for a visit). Background: Last March, I got a new MetroPCS phone and was assigned a number which had previously belonged to someone who's being tracked down by a number of collection agencies. Over the past year, I have received quite a few (probably dozens) calls from various companies regarding this guy's outstanding debts. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Tuesday sent another letter to California's congressional delegation asking for more federal dollars after President Barack Obama released a budget that provided only $1.5 billion of the $6.9 billion in new money that Schwarzenegger wants. I am very frustrated with having to wait and wait and wait for each and every webpage I want to look at to load. Firefox (the latest version, whatever that is) hangs and hangs and hangs, with the progress bar oh-so-slowly filling, then you get the blue message box of death "Firefox can't find the server" and similar messages. If you keep clicking on the "try again" button, you usually get to where you want to go eventually, but it's like a salmon swim upstream. I work near a wi-fi restaurant.....

SISZYD32.exe has possibly killed my FR computer. Yesterday it hit suddenly despite the anti-virus and other utilities I run to protect against such stuff. The victim computer is one I only use for FR and the sites it cites. That is the only clue I have to offer as to where it came from. I run several computers off a network and my FR computer is the only victim. This is the worst I have ever encountered and a search for it shows that it is very dangerous and it showed up only about a week ago (AFAICT). From years...
