Outspoken Iraq War protester Cindy Sheehan spoke at the Unitarian Universalist Church last night, asking a crowd of about 250 people to follow her lead and exercise their First Amendment rights by speaking out against President Bush and the war, which she called “an illegal occupation.” Sheehan, who famously camped out at Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas last summer after her son was killed while fighting in Iraq, told listeners that her story is proof that one person can make a difference in the world.
